My husband & I sat at the bar & were lucky to be served by Evelyn, who was both our bartender & server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive & made custom cocktails for us based on our preferences. Each one was spot on! We also really appreciated that the kitchen was able to accommodate my husband's celiac without any issue. Great food, great drinks & even better service :)View more
Lou's never disappoints. Kicked things off with some fresh oysters, followed by a hearty & flavorful plate of pasta Genovese-absolutely delicious. The meal ended on a high note with their incredible bread pudding, which is worth the visit on its own. The vibe is always welcoming & relaxed, & the service consistently hits the mark-attentive without being overbearing. While the wine selection isn't extensive, they always manage to have just the right bottle to complement the meal. A solid go-to spot in Pointe-Claire.View more
Had dinner with some friends. The place was busy & super loud. A bit too loud for me. Justine our waitress was very good. She was friendly & attentive. The crab cake was delicious but wasn't hot enough. Not sure if it hung around in the back counter before it was brought out to me. The food was a hit. My wife's salmon was delicious & had a crispiness she appreciated. My half chicken was on the small side despite the description but was buttery & delicious. It sat in a sort of lentil broth that married very well. We all enjoyed our experience minus the volume. Will be back.View more
Had a wonderful experience at Lou's. Service was great- very attentive & friendly, atmosphere is nice- ambient decor, not loud inside, & the food was delicious! The bread pudding was to die for! Will definitely be backView more
I recently celebrated a friend's birthday at Louis Restaurant & it was an unforgettable experience. The eggplant Parm was delicious accompanied by a couple of excellent entrées. The drinks menu offered something for everyone & we thoroughly enjoyed our selections.
What truly made the evening special was the warm & welcoming ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive without being intrusive. They surprised my friend with a birthday dessert which added a lovely touch to the celebration.
Perfect for special occasions or casual dining alike!View more
My friends & I ate there recently & the staff & food were amazing! Everyone was so kind & attentive, the decor was phenomenal & most importantly, the food was to die for. Highly recommend getting the tuna carpaccio & half chicken! Also need to mention the perfectly curated drink menu. The cocktails were great & the wine selection was very unique & clearly made with a lot of thought!View more
So so obsessed with this restaurant. The pasta was absolutely phenomenal. The fries & drinks were also delicious, as well as the oysters. We had Simon as our waiter & he was so kind & attentive. The service was also very quick. The restaurant is quick small so you are very close to your neighbour, which we did not mind at all. Would recommend to anyone & will definitely be coming back!View more
We had an amazing experience at Lou's! Our waitress & barmaid, Nadya, was incredibly helpful & attentive. She guided us through both the drinks & food menu with expertise, making excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. Her friendly demeanor & knowledge made us feel welcome & well cared for. The food was delicious, & the drinks were perfectly crafted. We can't wait to return!View more

My partner & I tried Lou's for the first time & had a great experience. The ambience, lighting & decor is charming. The service was fast, the staff were attentive & friendly. I had the burger, while my partner had the rigatoni. To start, we had the dinner rolls which came with herbed butter. We could eat those rolls for eternity. We shared of a few bites of each others meals & both were delicious! She also loved the Spicy Margarita cocktails. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone coming through the area in search of a nice meal!View more

Lou's Restaurant offers an exceptional casual dining experience with a warm & inviting atmosphere. The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern sophistication & relaxed comfort, making it an ideal spot for a memorable evening out. The food is simply outstanding. The fish dish I had was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin & tender, flavorful meat. The crab cakes were a delightful appetizer, packed with rich, succulent crab meat & just the right amount of seasoning. The chicken dish was equally impressive, featuring juicy, well-seasoned meat paired with fresh, vibrant greens. The wine selection is well-curated, complementing the dishes beautifully. I particularly enjoyed a bottle of Vigna Renuzza, which was recommended by the attentive & knowledgeable staff. Overall, Lou's Restaurant delivers on all fronts-delicious food, excellent wine, & a fantastic atmosphere. It's a place I'll definitely return to & highly recommend to others looking for a top-notch dining experience. One suggestion is to definitely get an espresso machine. Please. 🙏View more

Finally got to try Lou's, what a great addition to the village! The atmosphere was great, the staff was attentive & capable of accommodating a large group. I had the tartare & pasta genovese which were both excellent & so were the drink selections. Everyone at the table enjoyed their orders! Can't wait to go back & try more of the menu!View more

Excellent service & food! The servers were attentive & friendly, & the general manager really went above & beyond to make sure our experience was top tier. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for a fine dining experience with reasonable prices. The cocktails are also outstanding. I'll be back here as often as I can!View more
GUYS! This restaurant is the exact spot I was looking for to have my birthday dinner with friends. I will be a regular 100% & can't wait to go back again. The food was top tier, so tasty with a feeling of comfort with every bite. Jono & the whole staff was so attentive & handled alot of the food restrictions with our group, which I know is not always easy. Lenny made me feel seen & at home. Everything you need when you rarely get a night out. Highlights for me were the oysters, the dip (like elevated onion dip but gave me 90's nostalgia feels) & I am still thinking about those parker rolls. "The dirty" cocktail was 10/10 We finally have a good spot to eat quality food with quality service in the village can I get an AMEN. Anyways, EAT HERE.View more
We have wanted to try Lou's out since they opened several months ago but were never able to snag a reservation (probably because we tried to late...obviously) but lady luck finally called in the new year & we got a table (bar only) at the beginning of January 2024. Although there are a number of restaurants in the Pointe Claire Village, Lou's has created both an elegant yet casual ambiance with a mixed Italian/American-style cuisine. After sitting us at the bar & placing our order, a table cleared & we asked to move to it which they happily agreed to...that's appreciated as many restaurants don't want to hassle with moving patrons to new tables. The menu is not extensive but I would say that all types of eaters can find at least one thing on the menu to enjoy. For our meal, we started with the Parker Rolls (good...but the portion was a bit on the small side) & Crab Cake (very good, excellent sauce but a bit on the pricey side for a single cake)...for our main we had the Pasta Genovese (excellent), Eggplant Parmigiana (it seems they fried the eggplant slices to be crispy before being baked...was excellent...highly recommend it) & a side of Creamed Greens (sounds weird, I know, but was actually quite good). When moving from the bar to the table there was an issue with timing of the main meal being delivered. Due to the delay, the manager complimented us with a tasty Strawberry Cookie dessert & a glass of Amara. Both of which were greatly appreciated & enjoyed as well. Service was very good & attentive & we never felt wanting. Although note that there is (currently) a draft due to a faulty door at the back that affects the left side of the restaurant (as you enter). It wasn't terrible but it was noticeable...just ask to sit on the right side if you can. The restaurant is very busy so reservations are highly recommended...at least several days in advance. Enjoy!View more
