We stopped along the Le Petit Train du Nord trail & had an unforgettable break - all thanks to Carolane! The drinks were out of this world, & the vibe was perfect after a good ride.
If you stop by, ask Carolane for a Long Island Iced SpotOlly style - trust us, you won't regret it. 🍹 She made the whole experience even better with her energy & service. Can't wait to come back!

Classy restaurant with outdoor seating off the water. The staff is super friendly.
The chef is incredibly talented & goes above & beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions without compromising the magnificence of the meal. You get to speak with him directly.
Best meal I have eaten since being diagnosed with celiac 10 years ago; actually it's one of the best meals I've ever had in my life.
I ate salmon salade with berry sauce.
Followed by duck with sauce, sweet potato fries with tangy dip & carrots & asparagus.
For dessert I had a maple & amaretto flavoured crème brûle with wild berries.View more

(Restaurant) Pause déjeuner après un parcours en vélo. Le cadre est enchanteur près de la rivière. L'accueil du patron-cuisinier est charmant.
Assiettes très copieuses & prix raisonnables. Personnellement je n'aurais pas mis du fromage fondu avec le confit de canard, mais c'est fait avec le coeur. Bonne pression & sangria maison. Une bonne adresse.View more

We stayed next door at Maison Baviare, & booked a reservation for dinner.
By far, the best meal of our 5 day vacation riding Ptit Train Du Nord. Everything was clearly made in house, & the chef is brilliant The Caesar salad with Brie croutons, & the calimari, with homemade tartare sauce were perfect. & portions were generous! We both had the wild cod & sweet potato fries with asparagus & carrots…piping hot, cooked to perfection.
Sitting on the outside patio with the sound of the river was beautiful. Service was exceptional, & our wonderful waiter was charming (with an excellent sense of humour). His English was wonderful…my French, not so much. We had a delightful evening & wish we had booked dinner there both nights for our stay in Val David. Don't miss this gem. We can't recommend this place highly enough!View more

My partner & I stayed here for a night recently & had a lovely time! The rooms are very comfortable, super clean, quiet, & gorgeous. Such an amazing location with nice nature views everywhere & the relaxing sound of the water.
We also ate at the restaurant twice & had an amazing experience. The customer service is stellar, very friendly, quick, & welcoming. The brunch we had was perfect, thank you to the Chef for such a wonderful morning! Can't wait for our next visit here :)View more

INCROYABLE! Un souper, une nuit & un brunch au delà de tout ce que nous avions imaginé! Le chef, le propriétaire ainsi que notre formidable hôtesse pour ce brunch obligé après avoir si bien mangé la veille est un sans faute. Malheureusement ils ont placé la barre très haute pour les futurs restaurants que nous visiterons! La bouffe est à tomber par terre! Je vous confirme que nous y reviendrons 🥰View more

Nous sommes allés au resto ce soir ma conjointe & moi & ce fut une belle expérience. L'accueil & le service de Sébastien, serveur, sommelier & mixologue fut impeccable. Le tartare de bison était délicieux. Décor campagnard chic. Le resto vient de réouvrir & prendra probablement la place de la table des Gourmets ( qui est malheureusement fermé) comme meilleur resto de Val-David. La carte des vins sera bonifiées bientôt. Our new favorite restaurant! We experienced a wonderful reception & meal last weekend.
Beautifully situated next to the river & tastefully decorated, with a warm & welcoming staff. We sat next to the fireplace while we enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails of the alcoholic & nonalcoholic kind.
We sampled the fully chefs menu, each dish was plated with design & flare. Sampling one another's plates made it hard to choose which dish was our favorite.
