Service was great, very busy Sunday afternoon. Food was delicious & hot!
Atmosphere looked great, unfortunately we were sitting behind a very high backed booth & couldn't see much of anything. Definitely recommend the Nachos
Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. The waiter was rude, & during payment I was told - in a very unpleasant way - that a minimum 15% tip was mandatory.
I had already tipped $10 for only two items, yet I was forced to make another payment for the tip. Tipping should never be demanded or forced.
This left a very bad impression & ruined our experience.
Wait staff was incredibly friendly & quick. Prices were as expected for a tourist spot. Mixed drinks were excellent. Unfortunately the food was average. But overall a great experience for the night before a great day of snowboarding.
great food & great service. accommodated our group of 12 people at the last minute & made sure everything was okay at all times !
Service nul.
Excellent food & drink. Server was helpful in finding gluten free food for my spouse. She was a little slow in bringing another beer, but overall a good stop to warm up & enjoy the local cuisine.
The Wait staff was the worst completely unresponsive & just congregating to talk amongst themselves. We had to wait for service at the door without anyone saying hello. We had to wait for anything to be checked on at our table until we had to flag them down & in general the weight staff made the entire dinner unpleasant. The food was fine for pub fair.
Great apres ski place, the nachos are good, great poutine aswell, they know what they are doing over there
Food was very good. We ordered poutin amd bbq wings. I ordered an old faahion which was right on point. Waitress was very attentive & her service was great. Her last name I think was Pou or Bou. She was blonde. Athmosphere was great!
Best part is the location & ambiance.
For $34 before tax, the burger & poutine was filling but definitely overpriced ski resort food.
Definitely a long wait for the kitchen.
This was my second time coming & it was all because of the best burger I've ever had which is the Brie burger & fries. It felt like it was melting in my mouth & the fries were so good I didn't even need ketchup! The service has definitely improved since my last time coming here with our sever Lucas who was attentive especially since it was a busy night! The only problem I had which he fixed for me was the cosmo they had tasted like poison it was just awful, but Lucas helped fix the problem. This is a must if you go to Mont termblant as they won't rip you off, you definitely get your money's worth!
The experience was good. The server was good but quite disappointed with 15% tip may be she was expecting more. Gave a cold look. I think for a couple 15% tip is good.
After freezing our butts off on the slopes, we decided to grab an early lunch before heading back out. We landed at Le Shack mostly because they were the first place that could seat us-& honestly, timing matters when you're cold & hungry.
This place gets very busy right around lunchtime, so if you're rolling deep with a group, get there early. Once seated, service was solid & friendly. The food, however, was just okay. Nachos were fine but nothing memorable, & the chili wasn't exactly what I was hoping for after a cold morning on the mountain.
That said, it is a restaurant at the base of a ski resort, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. For me, Le Shack is less about the food & more about the vibe-it's a good place to unbuckle the boots, warm up, have a drink, & take a breather before deciding whether you've got another run in you.
Not a must-eat, but a perfectly acceptable ski-day pit stop.
We visited the restaurant with a lot of excitement after hearing great reviews about the food, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The staff was quite rude & unaccommodating. Despite being a family of eight visiting for the holidays, we were offered seating at two separate tables (after patiently waiting for quite sometime) & no effort was made to accommodate us together. When we asked if the tables could be joined, instead of offering a solution, a staff member responded very rudely. As a result, we left without even trying the food, which was truly unfortunate!
