I visited Le Majestique on a Thursday night, & it's easy to see why the place was packed & lively. I was there solo & had a reservation at the bar, which was the perfect spot to soak in the quirky, homey atmosphere. The service was spot on-attentive enough that I never had to wait for anything, but they definitely didn't hover.
The food was a highlight. I started with a half dozen oysters, which were incredibly fresh. I also ordered the fries-seriously, get them, they are great! For my main, I went with the special, which was the beef cheeks, & I finished things off with the homemade panna cotta. It was all quite good & felt very authentic.
As for the drinks, they are definitely on the heavier & stronger side, which I personally quite enjoyed. If you're looking for a spot with great energy & solid food in Montreal, I'd highly recommend making a reservation here.
Loved everything about this cute bar! The food was delicious & the drinks were even better! Staff was super attentive & the interior was cozy & cute! I loved everything about it!
I had an amazing espresso martini & then split the ravioli & risotto! Highly recommend!

J'y suis aller avec des amies, & nous sommes toutes les trois ressortis satisfaites! La nourriture était délicieuse de A à Z & notre serveuse était super sympathique. Je recommande.
Such a wonderful delightful night. we went to celebrate my brother & his fiancée's new engagement, & we were treated like royalty!!! our waiter took such good care of us, being attentive & relaxed, exactly what hospitality should be. The food was fantastic, (the foie mousse, little gem caesar, the seafood tower) & the scene was very cool. I could not recommend Le Majestique enough!
Really good food with some really great cocktails (the one with cachaça is the best) & the most attentive service i've had. Server knows everything about the menu & gives good recommendations. Really good place & super recommend it! 10/10

Best pure dinning experience I've had in a while. It is quite a unique spot that is hard to describe & I would strongly recommend to try for yourself. The inside kinda looks like a repurposed dinner turned trendy but kept its charm as a unique bar/restaurant. All aspects of it (food, atmosphere, decoration, service was great/excellent). I'd recommend the hot dogs, they are hilariously amazing.

Stopped by for Happy Hour with some friends via a reservation made a few hours in advance. Our waiter was attentive to our needs & took the time to answer our questions as it was our first visit. Overall, quick service, fresh oysters & love the rustic bar décor! Left with happy smiles & will be back soon. Highly recommend!
really good aux. Amazing music wow. I love the interior design a lot it's like wears waldo. One complaint is the shrimp risotto it was so expensive & so small. Would recommend
Omg ! Sarah is by far one of the greatest bartenders Ive ever encountered ! We asked her to look at our astrology charts & create something ghat represented us & she nailed it. In fact it was scary accurate … if you're looking for something different cuisine wise & an incredibly unique cocktail experience i highly recommend

Bar du Plateau Mont-Royal très fréquenté. Nous avons eu droit à un bel accueil. La déco est superbe. Nous avons dégusté un cocktail au bar qui manquait une touche d'alcool. Le service était courtois. Sachez que la nourriture est offerte en style tapas. La meilleure façon pour un restaurateur de vous offrir peu & de vous charger un prix maximum. Les portions sont très petites pour le prix demandé. Il n'y avait aucune indication sur le site du resto ou sur le menu. Toutefois, les huîtres étaient fraîches & délicieuses. Je vous recommande pour un verre dans une ambiance du Plateau, mais pas pour y manger.

The staff are consistently friendly, upbeat, & efficient, creating an atmosphere that feels both relaxed & energetic. The highlight? Their oysters - fresh, briny, & impeccably shucked. Pair them with their rotating selection of natural wines, & you've got a memorable evening ahead. The menu is inventive & rooted in local flavors, often with a playful twist that reflects the restaurant's fun-loving spirit.
During summer, the outdoor terrace adds even more magic to the experience. That said, reservations are highly recommended - this place fills up fast, especially on weekends.
Whether you're going for a date night, catching up with friends, or just treating yourself, Majestique delivers a unique Montreal dining experience that's equal parts style & substance. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to savor the Plateau's culinary soul.
The food & service lived up to the hype. An amazing place & must visit in Montreal. The footlong hot dog is the best you can have anywhere, try to pair it with something else though. I recommend the octopus & tater. Made a reservation at 630pm but place wasn't yet at capacity
This spot was nice for a casual night out. The ambiance was nice but got very very loud as it got later in the evening. I was shouting across a tiny table just for my partner to hear me. Scallop entree was very small but tasty. But, definitely recommend the truffle pecorino gnocchi, so so good. & I really recommend the focaccia with miso butter! Some of the best bread eve
