I visited Le Majestique on a Thursday night, & it's easy to see why the place was packed & lively. I was there solo & had a reservation at the bar, which was the perfect spot to soak in the quirky, homey atmosphere. The service was spot on-attentive enough that I never had to wait for anything, but they definitely didn't hover.
The food was a highlight. I started with a half dozen oysters, which were incredibly fresh. I also ordered the fries-seriously, get them, they are great! For my main, I went with the special, which was the beef cheeks, & I finished things off with the homemade panna cotta. It was all quite good & felt very authentic.
As for the drinks, they are definitely on the heavier & stronger side, which I personally quite enjoyed. If you're looking for a spot with great energy & solid food in Montreal, I'd highly recommend making a reservation here.
Three of us had 4(?) dozen delicious PEI oysters presented beautifully by the amazing Raf. Wonderful conversation. Wonderful drinks. Just a great way to enjoy an evening in Montréal.

Loved everything about this cute bar! The food was delicious & the drinks were even better! Staff was super attentive & the interior was cozy & cute! I loved everything about it!
I had an amazing espresso martini & then split the ravioli & risotto! Highly recommend!
Chicken liver mousse dont sleep on it. Drinks were good. Super chill time. Food came out quickly. Overall a good experience. Had some friends go the next night & they messed up the allergies. Not good.
Went here for a bite for a friends birthday after walking by & seeing the amazing atmosphere inside! The salmon dish was amazing - the sauce & crunchy onions on said salmon was amazing. Drinks were great. Fries were very good. Will need to come back! So much characte
Checked out Le Majestique for a couple of drinks. It was packed on a late Friday night. Impressive that they stay open to 3am daily. They're sister restaurants to Bar Darling.
Tried a couple of ciders including rosie ($11.00), camerises ($11.00) & milton ($9.00 pint). Pretty generic ciders.

Really cool restaurant with lots of decor almost like eating in an I Spy book. We stopped here for brunch & got the oysters plate, which was really tasty & creatively decorated. & we got the homemade focaccia, which was also excellent.
For drinks, I was hoping for the Roche Papier Shiso, but unfortunately, they ran out of shiso so I got a pretty good aperol spritz. However, then we got an espresso martini which my sister said was the best espresso martini she's ever had! & now I think she's made it her mission to come back to Montreal again to go here for another espresso martini
We randomly popped into this spot on a Sunday & couldn't be happier that we did! The food & service were incredible, & our bartender Sarah was truly next level. Not only was she super knowledgeable about pairing drinks with our meal, but she's also an astrology queen who whipped up the most fun, personalized cocktails for me & my bestie based on our charts. She was such a gem, as was the entire staff. 10/10 experience, can't wait to come back! ✨

I used to really enjoy frequenting this establishment however I find that the food quality & service has gone downhill as of late. The portion sizes, & quality of the food does not match the high prices. The staff now seem unfriendly for some reason & almost as if you're bothering them for service. The last time I went it took forever to get our food & even drinks. We ordered the lobster roll special only to be told 40 minutes later that they were sold out & to choose something else. The bartender just stood there waiting for us to immediately make a decision. I suggest this establishment for the oysters & drinks, anything else & you're taking a chance at disappointment

I like this place & I usually take my friends who are visiting montreal there to chill & have a conversation over a drink .
It's a small restaurant & the reservation hours are a bit confusing. That said the food is original & great. Do tell you allergies as my friend was for tofu & the butter had miso. Besides that the food is original & drinks are expensive & if you are into that, it's worth it. We had the chicken liver mousse & crispy (Asian) beef.
Cute place! Food was too expensive for tiny portions & the crispy beef was not great…. Like it was just mid. Gnocchi gave stomach pains. Meh. Good vibe maybe just for drink.
Came here for dinner last night with a friend. I got the gnocchi dish with mushrooms & a truffle sauce in it. I find dishes with mushrooms can be hit & miss but this one hit hard & kept having me eat more. The sauce was perfect. I'd 200% eat this again here. They also made me a nice lemonade as I don't drink alcohol. It was simply done but tasty. Great combo for dinner.
