It's a small restaurant & the reservation hours are a bit confusing. That said the food is original & great. Do tell you allergies as my friend was for tofu & the butter had miso. Besides that the food is original & drinks are expensive & if you are into that, it's worth it. We had the chicken liver mousse & crispy (Asian) beef.
Came here for dinner last night with a friend. I got the gnocchi dish with mushrooms & a truffle sauce in it. I find dishes with mushrooms can be hit & miss but this one hit hard & kept having me eat more. The sauce was perfect. I'd 200% eat this again here. They also made me a nice lemonade as I don't drink alcohol. It was simply done but tasty. Great combo for dinner.

A great bar for couples in Montreal to spend an evening! Great ambience, delicious food, reasonable prices, exceptional service & friendly staff! If you have time & way to find a parking in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Went here on a date a while back & still remember how great the atmosphere was! We had a reservation & were seated right away, we were a party of 2 so the table we got was pretty small but nothing to complain about. We got fries, oysters & their famous hot dog. Everything was delicious & would come back again :) I will say the waiter was great, I don't remember his name but he was working August 24th, 2024 at around 7/7:30 pm, he was a delight.
Great mix of different decades of retro music for most of the night, until they decided to make it exclusively Québécois pop, like just mix it in... Lamb brochettes, steak frites, loaded clams, pork flank, & banana cake were all delicious. The fries of the steak frites could be better though. The parfait was disappointing as the crispy bits just weren't crispy, tasted like they had spent too much time in the fridge & got softened by the humidity. The suggested cocktail pairing was perfect though. Wine suggestions from the server worked very well. The chartreuse cocktail & the amaro cocktail were both well balanced. If you're gonna have single door washrooms, they should just be unisex so everyone can use them.
I can't speak to the food because we made the mistake of bringing our 15-year-old daughter here for seafood & it's actually a bar/ restaurant. (no minors) The super friendly gentlemen at the door took the time to call their sister restaurant (Miracolo) just down the street & saved our daughter's birthday when they had a very last table available! We are incredibly grateful for the extra service & kindness! We look forward to coming back to try Majestique with an all adult crowd! Merci!!!❤️
We loved our visit to Le Majestique Montreal. Excellent drinks & food, particularly the marinated salmon & oysters. We came on a recommendation from friends & it did not disappoint. Definitely worth a visit.
I moved to the area recently & have been here three times in a month. This place is the s$&t. Seriously, the vibe, staff & seafood are incredible. & oh yeah Dylan is so professional, fun, friendly & just has everything handled. Even when I left my CC the first time I was there, he messaged me on IG to let me know, which I didn't ha until I read his message the next day. Places like this are why I go out! Absolutely love this place! Such a great vibe with very tasty food & spot-on service. The cider was pricey for a can. Highly highly recommend for a night out with friends or a dinner date! Oh & also, try their foccacia ;)
We walked by late on a Tuesday looking for a drink & a snack & were stunned by the excellent food, great wine & cocktails, & friendly staff. We kept ordering more food because it was so good. A new favorite!
Waited forever for a menu, then taking the order. At some point, the person who seemed to be the manager (short, stocky, bald guy wearing a luau who sat at the bar & drank with his friends) stood on top of the bar & popped open a magnum of champagne to celebrate the departure of one of the staff. He shook the bottle before he popped it open & completely covered me in champagne. (my face was dripping, clothes totally drenched). A girl close to me was also doused in champagne got comped a glass but I was sitting there completely drenched, completely embarrassed, reaching for napkins to pat myself down & did not receive an apology or acknowledgement of what just happened though I informed staff of what happened. I have been a client of the Holder restaurants/bars for years but I am definitely never going back to this one. This is not what I have grown accustomed to at their otherwise reputable establishments. Just got home & can't believe what just happened to me.
