Le Filet completely impressed us. From the moment we walked in, Jesse at the host stand was warm, polished, & welcoming, & Guillaume gave us exceptional service all evening. The food was outstanding - beautifully plated, creative, & full of flavor. Every dish felt refined & memorable, from the delicate crudo to the perfectly executed seafood & the rich truffle pasta. Even dessert was stunning. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for a special night out. Truly one of the best dining experiences we've had in Montreal. Highly recommend.
Super souper hier soir avec mes deux amis au restaurant Le Filet !
Le poulpe grillé au quinoa était tout simplement délicieux avec une cuisson parfaite, tendre & savoureux. Quant aux linguines à l'encre de seiche… OMG 😨 ! Une vraie bombe gustative, riches en saveurs & parfaitement exécutées.
Le cadre est magnifique, avec une ambiance qui rappelle la mer & de subtiles références au monde du 🎾 .
Le service était au rendez-vous : attentionné, professionnel & chaleureux.
Très bon rapport qualité-prix pour un restaurant de calibre Michelin. N'ayez pas peur d'y poussez la porte après réservation bien sûr !
Seul petit bémol : la salle devient rapidement bruyante quand elle est pleine, il faut parfois parler un peu plus fort pour s'entendre.
Mais honnêtement, ça reste une excellente adresse que je recommande sans hésiter ! 👌✨
Nous y retournerons ça c'est certain 🫶🤗

We had an incredible experience at Le Filet, & a huge part of that was thanks to Gaizka & Guillaume.
From the moment we walked through the door, we were welcomed with genuine warmth & professionalism. Their hospitality was outstanding right from the start - attentive, thoughtful, & effortlessly smooth. They made us feel comfortable immediately, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Both Gaizka & Guillaume brought such great energy to the experience. Their knowledge of the menu, their recommendations, their timing - everything was perfectly executed. You can tell they truly care about their guests & take pride in what they do. The service felt natural, not forced, & incredibly sincere.
& the food… absolutely exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented & full of flavor. Combined with the level of service we received, it made the entire experience feel elevated & memorable.
Management should know that Gaizka & Guillaume are true assets to your team. They represent Le Filet with class, passion, & professionalism. Service like this is what turns a great restaurant into a truly special one.

We came here on a whim for NYE. Excellent service, food & atmosphere. Restaurant was able to provide a fully vegan meal without advanced notice. Everyone enjoyed. Highly recommend!
I booked the table last night to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Tbh, i did not expect much because we are from Asia & I've been to many fine dining in Montreal & the service & food we received is not as good as we get back home. However, last night, Le fillet gave us a beyond Montreal standard. They really put their effort into their work. The food is good, i would definitely go back again to try more dish but the service there oh my, its amazing. Comparing to the price & vibe, its valuable for your money. I really recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good dining place to celebrate special occasion or just having a good time. I give 10 stars to my server last night as well. Thank you!!
Le Filet is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Montreal. The service was attentive & thoughtful from start to finish, & the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale & inviting.
If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must. Every dish we tried was incredibly well-executed - light, delicate, & bursting with flavor. You can really taste the care & creativity in each bite.
Pro tip: come hungry, aim for the fish, & definitely leave room for dessert. Trust me - it's worth it.
Highly recommended for a special night out or anyone looking to truly savor the best of what Montreal's culinary scene has to offer.

This was my favorite restaurant while visiting in Montreal for the first time. Tried almost everything on the menu & everything tasted amazing. I didn't get to take a picture of everything we tried because it was so good! Additionally, the staff were very professional & welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything is perfect! Super stable outcome, great balance, great selection (although is a very classic small menu however does not affects the great taste, because they often have seasonal dish that is not on the menu!) great food, great service, great atmosphere!
I come so often that you can tell from my photos, my most frequent score was 4 times in a months.

I would recommend everything on the menu except the Poisson à la volée & Le flanc de porc.
Un coup de coeur assuré! Ma conjointe & moi avons été le 22 juillet dernier & WOW ! Les plats sont soignés & raffinés, l'ambiance est magnifique avec le long bar, la cuisine ouverte est un petit plus & que dire du service de Rose, qui a été impeccable...je vous le recommande & j'y retournerai assurément!!!

Two absolute highlight dishes were the halibut entrée & the maple Square dessert. As an octopus lover, I ordered it also but found it mediocre. Overall, everything that was recommended to us was divine & our service was excellent. We sat at the counter & it was a totally suitable dining environment for two - good for being conversational with the staff even. High-quality wine list.
Excellente soirée au restaurant ! Le service offert par Maxime était tout simplement parfait; attentionné, sympathique & professionnel. La nourriture était délicieuse, en particulier les huîtres érable-jalapeno : charnues, savoureuses, un vrai délice. L'ambiance était agréable, avec une musique présente mais pas trop forte, juste ce qu'il faut pour bien profiter du moment. Je recommande vivement !
One of the best customer services I have had in Montreal! Too bad we did not ask his name, but he was very kind & knowledgeable for the drinks & the dishes. All of his recommendations were on point! (All of their wine recommendations indeed satisfied all of us!).
Oysters were not only fresh but it was also quite chunky 😋. I really recommend grilled octopus too! It was soft & seasoned very well. All the main dishes we had was super tasty too.
Lastly, you cannot not take the famous maple square! It was perfect to end our course 😁
Overall, it was 10 out of 10! We all really loved the vibe of the restaurant. I really liked that it was not too loud(probably we were the loudest table idk😅), & just by the fact the how good customer service it was, it is definitely worth to try!

I think this maybe one of my new favourite restaurants here . The service was amazing & every dish that came out was not only visually pleasing but it even tasted better than it looked. Theu choice of oysters , raw & cooked is the definition of fine dining . Every dish that we order did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place to take anyone you're to impress with the Montreal food scene.
Finally had the chance to try the famous restaurant where you go after your tennis session. It is also a place I highly recommend if your looking for the best service in town & the best variety of fancy plates. Going there, we tried a lot of what is offered on the menu. To start, we ordered the miso gratin oysters. These are one the best things I tried in my life. It is a perfect combination of sweet & sea taste. After, we tried the cold corn soup with foie gras. It was very unctuous & fresh. We then ordered the octopus plate & the wagyu tataki. The octopus was not to squeaky & not to hard, perfectly smooth when we bit it. The wagyu was nothing to special but it was well cooked (medium rare). Moreover, we ordered the linguine plate, the lobster pastas plate & the gemilli pastas plate. All three were amazing. The linguine plate was not as good as the Daily catch restaurant do it but take it if you're an amateur with this kind of plate. I didn't really taste the lobster in the pastas but the sweetbreads that comes with it are my second favorite thing I ate between all the plates we ordered. The veel cheek that came with the gemelli pastas was very tender & tasty. Finally, I tried the maple syrup square as dessert. It was very simple but very comforting & not to heavy.
