Been coming to Le Filet for years & it never disappoints, but the visit a couple weeks ago reminded me why it's still my favourite spot in the city. The sea bream crudo was as precise & delicate as I remember, with just the right acidity to wake up your palate before the mains. The room has this warm, low-lit energy on a weekday evening that feels intimate without being stuffy. Service was attentive without hovering, which is honestly harder to pull off than most restaurants realize.
Amazing food & even better service. Guillaume, our waiter, was fantastic & made the evening even more enjoyable. 6 stars for the professionalism & attentiveness of the service. Merci Guillaume!

We had an incredible experience at Le Filet, & a huge part of that was thanks to Gaizka & Guillaume.
From the moment we walked through the door, we were welcomed with genuine warmth & professionalism. Their hospitality was outstanding right from the start - attentive, thoughtful, & effortlessly smooth. They made us feel comfortable immediately, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Both Gaizka & Guillaume brought such great energy to the experience. Their knowledge of the menu, their recommendations, their timing - everything was perfectly executed. You can tell they truly care about their guests & take pride in what they do. The service felt natural, not forced, & incredibly sincere.

Le Filet is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Montreal. The service was attentive & thoughtful from start to finish, & the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale & inviting.
If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must. Every dish we tried was incredibly well-executed - light, delicate, & bursting with flavor. You can really taste the care & creativity in each bite.
Pro tip: come hungry, aim for the fish, & definitely leave room for dessert. Trust me - it's worth it.

Great for special occasions! Attentive service. We loved the corn soup & cod special main with parmesan risotto, suateed chanterelles, broccoli puree. Onion rings were a hit too!

We had dinner as a group of 6 people & our experience was fantastic! The service is probably the best in Montreal amongst restaurants of similar calibre, the waiters/waitresses are incredibly friendly & attentive. Their oysters, black linguine, pork flank & tuna tartare are amazing. I definitely recommend it for everyone!
I have been to this restaurant twice (once for business & once for pleasure) & both times were excellent! The dishes are inventive, fun, & delicious; the staff is knowledgeable, courteous, & attentive. The portion sizes are just right for sharing. The desserts have not been overlooked & feature the interesting combinations that you will find in the rest of the menu. The location is great - right across from the park - & the view is nice. I would highly recommend it!
