Le Cartet s`est rapidement imposé comme une table de choix pour les passants et les professionnels du Vieux-Montréal. Sandwichs frais et bien faits et l'incontournable tarte au citron qui évite la culpabilité. On mange sur de grandes tables de bois dans le charme de l'épicerie. Complètement à aire ouverte, le restaurant-boutique propose un décor épuré !

A nice place for breakfast in Old Montreal with a wide selection of items. We all took the same since we had limited time for an early breakfast before heading to the office. I had a latte & their breakfast sandwich which was a perfect size. I'll be back another time to try other items on the menu as soon as many look really good. Worth the detour for breakfast or lunch.
Food was very good. Though id say i wasn't a fan of the pancakes. I look forward to trying other items on the menu. The place can definitely use some ambience music as you hear the chatter of everyone & it can get quite loud at brunch I definitely recommend this place for the food!!
Notre serveuse était très amicale. Excellent service! Belle présentation des plats. Un peu bruyant par contre. On se croirait dans une cafétéria. Pour 4 personnes + tips. La facture à remonter à 262$ incluant une bouteille de mousseux pour les mimosas.
UPDATE: It was so good that we went the next day too for brunch! Food was even better the second day! ❤️ ORIGINAL: AMAZING! Our server Benjamin was probably the friendliest & most attentive server I ever had. He is so good. We came at around 11 am on Saturday & were seated with no issue but there was a line closer to 11:40 am. Food was amazing. Service was stellar. So happy we came here during our visit.
Highly recommend. Excellent breakfast, we got there just before the rush. Canton breakfast skillet was excellent & the Brunch Nordique was delicious, such great flavors, I swapped the bagel for country toast which was perfect. All the food looked amazing. Next time pancakes!!!

Amazing!!! Big portion, beautiful presentation, delicious food, everything was on point. the service was great. Tried the pancakes, eggs benedict w. duck confit, & the avocado toast. All were great
Je suis allée plusieurs à cet endroit il y a plus de 5 ans & la nourri était bonne. Malheureusement, ce n'était pas le cas hier. Notre brunch était mediocre même je dirai pas bon
Popped in for a spot of breakfast, & I'm glad we did. The food that the wife & I had was amazing. I would definitely reccommend this bistro as a place to eat. After chatting a.little bit to our server, we got an interesting little history lesson on the differences between Canadian French & French French.
