Le Cartet s`est rapidement imposé comme une table de choix pour les passants et les professionnels du Vieux-Montréal. Sandwichs frais et bien faits et l'incontournable tarte au citron qui évite la culpabilité. On mange sur de grandes tables de bois dans le charme de l'épicerie. Complètement à aire ouverte, le restaurant-boutique propose un décor épuré !
Dans l'ensemble, les avis décrivent Le Cartet Resto boutique comme un endroit chaleureux et convivial pour le brunch et le petit déjeuner, avec un bon café et une ambiance accueillante, présentant un menu varié qui convient aussi bien aux habitants qu'aux visiteurs; les plats phares incluent le plat Canton servi dans une poêle et les œufs bénédicte au canard confit, ainsi que des pancakes et des options plus saines, tandis que les portions et les prix sont parfois jugés un peu élevés ou pas toujours généreux pour la taille; le personnel est régulièrement salué pour sa chaleur et son attention et de nombreux convives disent qu'ils reviendront pour une expérience fiable et agréable.
I started coming here for lunch in 2006 & always enjoyed the quality of the food, freshness, great atmosphere & the service!! I was in Montreal recently & unfortunately did not have a chance to visit it this time...I will make sure I do next time :)

The food didn't have any taste, the duck Benedict was bland. I don't understand why the rating is high as neither of 3 meal course was average. The only point was the service.
"Outstanding ambiance, top-notch food quality, & excellent service. We sampled both the Canton & Toscan brunch plates, & they were both exceptional, though personally, I preferred the Canton. Each plate was generously portioned. A minor note: the ham included in some dishes is more like pulled meat than traditional sliced ham, which I enjoyed but my friend found the aroma too meaty. Our server, Benjamin, was incredibly attentive & friendly, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable. Don't forget to explore the side menu for additional options. I'll definitely be returning & recommending it to others."
Endroit très beau & avec une belle décoration ! Le service est vraiment de qualité & le personnel très gentil :) Les plats sont bon (à emporter) & il y a du choix Je recommande fortement Pour le sur place c'est tout aussi bon mais je trouve l'accompagnement vraiment léger...
Le Cartet Resto Boutique was buy far one of the most memorable "brunch" dining experiences. Wonderful play on classic breakfast. We enjoyed poached eggs, orange hollandaise & duck confit with a large bowl of Cafe au Lait. Fast, Friendly, Efficient. Wonderful spot in old Montréal for breakfast/brunch & more. Their boutique has all sorts of wonderful food items.
The espresso beverages here are some of the best I've ever had. I had a cappuccino & my partner had an oat latte- both were so delicious! On top of the amazing service, we got the pancakes for brunch & i haven't stopped thinking about them since. I will absolutely come back.
Amazing breakfast!! Do not miss this place. I had eggs blended with goat cheese & asparagus & it melted in my mouth. My partner got the pancakes & they were sooooooo gooooood. The graham crumble in the blueberry & maple sauce were just a beautiful & scrumptious touch. Server was excellent. Loved the ambiance. On my way out I acccidentally bought some of their house-made chocolate. One is a gift for me & one is a gift for my mom, if I can stop myself from eating it before I see her.
Everything was phenomenal! The attention to detail was noteworthy. The menu is small, which ensures that each item is perfected. Delicious eggs Benedict (with ridiculously delicious roasted potatoes), as well as a goat cheese/pesto/spinach toast with poached eggs & a dessert of yogurt, granola & fresh fruit. Earl Gray tea served with steamed milk (a small but thoughtful addition for the tea obsessed).
Recommended for brunch, very nice atmosphere, good coffee & great location to take a walk after ... Le Canton on the menu satisfied the cave man hunger i had 🥓🥓🍗🍗
A very nice place with great ambiance & service. However, pricing & portion size is now nuts. Paid 12 for a croissant sandwich & it was MINUSCULE. I know pricing for foodnhas gone up but this is just disrespectful. Always looked forward to passing by Le Cartet but will probably be curbing that now.
The quality of the food was great & the ingredients were fresh & healthy. We had a special lychee cocktail which was fantastic. The only thing was that portion of the Benedict that was a little bit less than typical.
