Notre resto préféré à Montréal! Notre dernière visite, pour la fête de mon compagnon, nous permis de savourer le menu dégustation qui a plu à tous-toutes. Le service était remarquable & les suggestions de vins parfaites. Les communications pour la réservation & les restrictions alimentaires étaient faciles & conviviales. On adore!

The tasting menu at Lawrence was absolutely amazing. Everything felt so thoughtful & incredibly well executed from beginning to end.

The wine pairing is an absolute must. They have an extensive wine list which was great to see & was struggling to pick a bottle of wine so our server suggested doing the pairing instead & I'm so happy we did. Every wine was so carefully chosen to complement each dish, & we got to try such an interesting range of wines, including several from Québec & other regions of Canada. Coming from Vancouver, we're so used to drinking Okanagan wines, so it was really special getting to experience Canadian wines from regions we don't normally come across.

There were so many memorable dishes. The crumpet with cucumber had so much freshness & was perfectly balanced. The lobster with cantaloupe, shiso, & jalapeno was unreal, the cantaloupe flavour really shined without overpowering any of the other ingredients. We also had the best piece of bluefin tuna ever. My partner & I work in a Japanese fine dining restaurant back home & ours didn't compare to this one.

One of the biggest highlights was an orange wine in the pairing. On its own, it was incredibly unique & earthy, but when paired with the food, it completely transformed & became noticeably sweeter. It was probably the first time I've had a wine pairing where I could so clearly taste how much the wine & food elevated each other. Every pairing felt extremely intentional.

The service made the experience even better. Unfortunately, we forgot our bartender's name, but he was working on August 6 & served us at the bar. He was truly amazing, so knowledgeable, kind, personable, & genuinely made our night feel special. Our vacation was for us to relax after a busy summer for us & this was the perfect night out for us so thank you to everyone at Lawrence for taking such good care of us.

We will absolutely come back anytime we're in Montréal & will be recommending Lawrence to everyone. Such a memorable meal & experience from start to finish.

Le Lawrence, son Chef Marc Cohen & son équipe offre une soirée inoubliable. Son menu créatif, la présentation & la diversité de ses plats ainsi que la vaisselle utilisé maximise l'expérience. Comme un voyage nous sommes passés par toutes les couleurs & les saveurs d'ici & d'ailleurs. Aussi, l'ambiance intimiste du restaurant fait en sorte qu'en couple ou avec des amis il est facile de jaser & d'apprécier une belle soirée. Amazing! We truly had an amazing experience. We are not fish people & most dishes were of some fish/seafood persuasion & everything was delicious! We truly had a great night! A wonderful experience for anyone who likes fine dining & trying new things! Our server was so nice too!

Absolute joke. Terrible service & quality of food provided.
This place used to be a great spot to eat. Guess someone sold out. It's now run by clowns.

Highly recommend spending your money anywhere else (La Cave du Parapluie for half the price & 50x the quality).

Outstanding. I would be surprised if they don't get the Michelin star next year. Super fresh, seasonal ingredients, flawless execution & impressive wine selection. The staff made us feel very welcome, like eating at your best friend's place who also happens to be a world class chef & sommelier.

Cuisine exceptionnel par un seul homme, Marc Cohen, un véritable artiste. Petit & un peu bruyant mais ça vaut le coup, il y a une ambiance intime avec le personnel.
