Our dinner at Lawrence was outstanding. The restaurant is perfectly sized to feel special & intimate without being cramped. All the staff we interacted with were so kind & knowledgeable. Our primary server recommended an excellent alcohol-free sparkling wine that suited the meal perfectly. We were blown away by every single dish. We have had tasting menus all over the world & it's very rare to come across one where every single course is a hit. One of the guests in our party had some dietary restrictions that the chef & team accommodated very well. We will absolutely be back & would recommend to everyone. Lawrence food experience is a 9 course tasting menu with an additional 2 side courses with a total duration of over 3 hours was a sublime experience.
The dessert was a French toast & sheep milk yogurt that was fantastic, the palette cleanser was an apple along with a radicchio sorbet which was absolutely delicious.
The lamb, squid ink pasta & mussel curry, courses were the highlight of the whole menu. The service was absolutely fabulous & the drink menu was exhaustive. We opted for the milk washed calvados, manhattan & a non alcoholic sparking tea & they were really good.

Absolutely loved eating here. We had the tasting menu & were so impressed with the flavors, quality of ingredients, wine pairings, & service. The ambience is also lovely & they paced the meal so well. HIGHLY recommend!

You'll feel right at home in this cosy restaurant with its open kitchen. The tasting menu is simply fabolous amd comes with a brisk wine pairing. Most importantly, everyone loves to chat about their profession & their produce in an unpretentious way.
Great experience! I admire the chef trying to run everything himself. The food was bold & interesting, & service was wonderful. It takes over 3 hrs for the whole tasting menu tho, just a heads up for people who are interesting in booking
One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. We got a table next to the chef & could see him creating each dish, such an intimate experience. Each dish was meticulously crafted, lots of new & exciting flavors. The service was also wonderful- I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try a mystery tasting menu!

This restaurant was absolutely incredible. Our waitress was super helpful in picking out the meal & pairing a wine. The food was out of this world! I thoroughly enjoyed each dish & experiencing the flavors. Chef did a great job with the tasting menu. This place gets my highest of recommendations.

We had a lovely experience at Lawrence. We did the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Every dish we had was delicious & loved the use of local resources. Every wine that was paired with the food was perfect & tasted great. The service at the restaurant was amazing - everyone was so kind & knowledgeable & passionate about providing us with the best experience possible. We can't wait to go back next time we're in town.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile, & went with a friend visiting from out of town. We had the small tasting menu because we knew we would enjoy anything on the menu. We appreciated the really vibrant & unique flavour combinations, & beautifully presented dishes. The portions were a bit small, & although everything was excellent, no one dish really blew us away. Excellent wine suggestions from the servers, & impeccable service means that I would be happy to come back here & see what else the chef comes up with. I LOVE that gratuity is included in the pricing.

The service at Lawrence is impeccable - warm, welcoming, & attentive. The intimate space is so charming, & the food is exquisite; the desserts, in particular the kouign-amann, were fantastic. Lawrence offers not just a meal, but an experience that will draw me back to Montreal very soon!
