The atmosphere was casual comfort. The brisket was absolutely the best I've ever had! The portion was huge & I had lovely leftovers the following day. The owner is kind, knowledgeable & clearly skilled as a pit master!
Great experience at Lattuca BBQ! The food was flavorful & well cooked, especially the meats. Portions were generous & the atmosphere was relaxed. Friendly service too definitely a place I'd come back to.

Expensive, we took a plate to share for 5 40$ each. We got a small mac n cheese & coleslaw. Food was okay but the pulled pork was dry. Would not recommend for the price but only redeemable place for smoked meat in montreal. Price to quality ratio is not here.
There is no menu btw, this is outrageous.

We come to Lattuca BBQ year after year all the way from Ontario, & every single visit reminds us why this place is unbeatable. The smoked meat here is absolutely phenomenal-tender, juicy, & packed with flavor that rivals the best Texas barbecue.
The brisket melts in your mouth, the ribs are perfection, & the sides complement everything beautifully. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, & you can feel the passion behind every dish.
If you're in Montreal & love authentic BBQ, this is THE spot. Worth every mile of the trip!
We were hesitant because this is a hole in the wall, but I'm so glad we came. The food blew my mind. If you go, ask for Melissa. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive & she treated us like regulars even though it was our first time.
You don't know an amazing brisket until you have gone to lattuca barbecue. It was tender, juicy & everything you want in brisket. The pulled pork was also delicious even a person who hates pork ate it & loved it. The staff was also amazing & they made me feel at home. Overall I would recommend this to everyone I know. This was a 10/10
I live in London now & miss this place so much. Everytime I come back I need to come & eat here. John is really a pit master & he makes the bbq EVER. Do yourself a favor ane check it out!

Superbe place, belle ambiance chaleureuse, le propriétaire est super cool & accueillant, de la bonne musique, & que dire de la nourriture 😍 & les plats sont remplis portion tres généreuse. Je vous le recommande
I was introduced to this style BBQ around 8 years ago by a good friend. I was apprehensive about how this experience would go as it's mostly just meat. We took a share platter with all 5 meats. After the first bite, that instant tender, melt in your mouth, smokey meat hit my palate just right. That beef rib is the best rib I've ever eaten. This meal is not for everyone, but I can honestly say that if you like BBQ, try LATTUCA once in your life. If you like Texas style BBQ, this is the place to be. They also have a nice variety of alcohol to go with the meal.
Since going 8 years ago, I've tried to share this experience with other BBQ enthusiasts every chance I've had. The staff are very friendly & attentive. The owner is very down to earth & a great host. Even though he is extremely busy managing & trying to cater to everyone, he tries his best to cordially convers with all of his guests.
Not here everyone. Food safety concerns. We had diarrhea 30 mins after eating here...paying 45$ plus each for really small plates, & the serveuse chose to offer an outdoor seating in a cold day & didn't bring the correct order or come take the order fast enough when there were only 3 tables of clients. Another experienced lady came to lift the service level. The tip was set to 18% for the first serveuse ! & food was not even as fresh , seasoned, & enough. The old port needs a better steak place.

We ate here on Oct 26th. The food was nice, a lot more expensive than a typical smoked meat shop. The menu is delivered verbally which I am not sure is necessary as the options are fairly typical BBQ options. Also the bathroom is quite ghetto. I feel when charging higher than average prices you should make sure the entire atmosphere is welcoming but the bathroom is extremely outdated & almost awkward to use.
We had to convert a dine-in reservation to a take-out because my ladies weren't feeling great. We got brisket & beef rib. The beef rib was delicious, but the brisket was amazing. So good my picky daughter would *not* stop talking about it. & I agree, it was utterly fantastic...it's no surprise it's won awards.
Beans were tasty, slaw was good, & the wife said the Mac & cheese was good. I'm a celiac & the meals came with separately packed Mac & cheese, & they kept one meal for me without.
Staff was lovely & helpful when I picked up. Will happily return in the future!
Nous sommes fan de smoke house & celui-ci vient de battre notre top 1 ! Cuisson de la viande est exceptionnelle ambiance très familiale, nous avons rencontrez le propriétaire & avons passer un bon moment avec lui au bar a connaitre l'histoire de ce petit restaurant qui est fort intéressante. Il ny a pas de menu car cest en quantité limité pour la viande ! & sincèrement on oubli les menu quand nous goutons a toute la saveurs des viandes!!! Je recommande très fortement ce restaurant & merci encore au propriétaire pour la très belle soirée 😊
Everything about this place is an absolute gem. The price put me off a bit, but it turned out being so worth it! Meat was fresh & tender, drinks were perfect, service was friendly & knowledgeable. Will be returning when I'm back in the area
