If you're looking for amazing southern Texas style bbq then this is the spot. The owner "Jon" I usually wandering about. Super friendly & engaging. The brisket is simply amazing, the beef bone isn't to be missed either. If you're into meats this is your spot to check out in beautiful old port of Montreal.
Amazing Texas BBQ, our server was Ally & she was so friendly & very bubbly. Been here probably 8-9 times over the last year & always amazing food & service. Fan girl.
Visiting from Windsor, Ontario I have tasted some good smoked BBQ from Detroit. This place is top notch. Foods & service were right on point. If you are ever in Montreal, this place should be on your list to visit!!
Fantastic food but criminally SMALL portions! For the price, we expected much more. Smallest portions of any barbeque place I've been to in the past 30 years. Very disappointing. Won't be returning.
Husband & I came here for dinner last night- overall, had a good experience. Food was really good, particularly the pork ribs & chicken (brisket was a bit dry). Beans were phenomenal- a pleasant surprise! Menu & service were a bit lackluster for a few reasons- their menu exists only on a blackboard in the restaurant that shows pricing for option of 1, 2 or 3 meats along with choice of sides. However, when we placed our order, it sounded like you can't order a 2 meat platter & just share between the two of us. The way the server explained it sounded like they charge based on # of person & quantity. We overheard one table settling their bill when we arrived & they were confused with the charges while another large group just got seated & they were also very confused with how pricing worked (server told them each person would have to pay $43 for a table of 6). Service was also quite a bit slow to take our drinks orders (we had been seated for abt 15 mins). Bottom line, would recommend the restaurant for their food but the ordering & service experience is a bit confusing/turn off.

Came here multiple times, giving 3 stars out of respect of the other times that I came & actually enjoyed it but can't say the same for this last one. Pulled pork was ok, a bit dry compared to usual, sides were good but the beef brisket didn't meet expectations, really burned & chewy. In two we paid 70$ each with tip & taxes, overpriced seeing the quality on that day. Seems like the owner was meeting friends so he stayed standing right next to my table for the whole dinner chatting with them, not a fun of eating while having someone's bum on my face, as a restaurant owner he should know better, hopefully it was just a slip up but I don't think I'll be back.
We ordered out from this restaurant for an event & the food was amazing! Called today at 1030am to inquire on ordering out again for an event. The cook answered was extremely rude & told me they are closed & don't have time to discuss quantities needed since he's cooking. I said you sound very busy let me call back later & he said that that he doesnt have time to answer the phone all day & hung up. Why answer at all Do not call before 5pm as you are disturbing the cook. Cook should get a customer service class especially when the customer is being extremely nice. He was definitely having a bad day & took it out on me. If I was the owner I would never let him answer the phone again!!

I had heard of this restaurant for quite some time now & simply had not had the opportunity to go, until last night... I have been to many wonderful meat restaurants in my life but Latucca merits all the praise. The food was out of this world, the ambiance was festive, the waiting staff was qualified (a rarity these days) & drinks were all equally amazing. A special mention to John, the owner, who took time to speak with us. I've seen dedication but he takes it to the next level. There are very few places left in Montreal that deserve this attention. Try it for yourself, I promise, you will not regret it! Enjoy.
Great atmosphere. Book to get a good spot, back tables are not nice. Atmosphere is lively. Brisket & mac n cheese was super delicious & resounably priced but the portion size is not impressive. Parking is a challenge (same case for all other places in old Montreal). All in all I will definitely repeat.
(I ordered via uberEats) HOLY MOLY!!! Now I've never been to Texas to taste authentic Texas BBQ but I reckon this is it. This was hands down the most delicious most succulent, most tender brisket I ever had in my life. The giant beef rib was also amazing & falls right off the bone. But, if I had to pick between the two I would choose the brisket. That first bite brought so much happiness. Thanks so much Lattuca for creating this quality BBQ in these dark times :)
This was a surprise from my wife & i had no expectations, but it turned out to be really delicious & good local beer for an average of 30-40$ the only thing i didnt like was that they serve you on a paper with a plate & as you cut your meat, ur cutting the paper & it starts to stick to some of your pieces of meat. So its been a year & we went again, its still delicious 😋 but same problem as before with the paper. The local beer is good, try it out.
Went there for my birthday on Saturday, & I will be going back as soon as I can. The ambiance is so comfortable, the service was top notch (waiters were very friendly, knowledgeable & fun) we did not wait long at all for our food, the portions were amazing ! Food is melt in your mouth good. Owner was there, very friendly. I cannot wait to go back.
Obsessed with this restaurant!! The meat is incredible, the waitresses & the owner are attentive, giving an intimate dining experience. They make great cocktails, have chosen wines that go with the food, really a must visit spot in the old port!
