From the moment we walked in, we were lowkey bullied by the restaurant's owner, a self styled pastel girl-boss with a brigerton-coded control kink.

After being scolded pretty intensely to clean our shoes, we were handed out tea hats (mandatory), then whisked away to do a photoshoot (also mandatory). We were instructed to use a china bell to ring, & were refused service if we didn't.

The tea that we were served (without having been given any choice btw) was a pot of blue herbal mix that sort of felt like drinking warm, musky Gatorade, followed by a second pot of a very mid earl grey (no milk, don't even ask).

The sandwiches, scones, etc were quite nice, but not giving in quality/freshness. This is because, as our hostess described to us IN DETAIL, they order in every item from other suppliers. While she obviously thinks these partnerships are a huge flex, they really can't compare to fresh food made in-house.

With the strange service & lack luster beverage / food, the value of the experience should be in the'immersive' atmosphere, but what looks cute & extra in photos is nothing short of DERANGED in person. Hundreds of cheap ribbons & dollar store fake flowers are literally GLUE GUNNED all over the walls, light fixtures, even the air conditioner. The cold overhead lighting (bright enough to light up a crime scene), & cheap table linen (microplastics!) were not selling luxury. The website promises to'suspend time in a porcelain universe of well-being in pastel shades' (red flag in retrospect) but in reality it feels like the result of an adderall-fulled temu-bender.

I can get behind a weird experience, so I wasn't even mad at all this until I paid my bill. Tax & tip included, I spent Seventy. Seven. Dollars. at this establishment. For just myself. That is the price of an actually good high end tea, like the Queen Elizabeth or The Ritz Carleton; where the narcissist vibes owner is not using you as a sim in her bridgerton inspired vanity project.

Unless paying a substantial sum to be talked down to in cringe victorian cosplay is your thing, I'd recommend passing on Lady porcelaine.

Expérience plus que parfaite! Nous y avons fêté le 70e anniversaire de notre mère, & c'était merveilleux. Ma mère a été traitée comme une reine (littéralement, avec une couronne hahaha!) Les bouchées sont délicieuses, une belle variété. Le décor est enchanteur, il y a toujours une nouvelle chose qui attire l'oeil. Que d'amour & d'attention au détail il y a dans cet endroit! & surtout, le service!! Jennifer, la propriétaire, nous accueille comme si on était chez elle, des invités qu'on chouchoutte & pour qui on sort la belle porcelaine ;) Tout le personnel est chaleureux, attentionné. Ma mère a passé chaque minute émerveillée, tout comme nous! Merci pour ce beau moment dans cet univers.

Lady Porcelaine is far more than a tea service-it is a beautifully curated experience.
Guests are encouraged to dress in Victorian-inspired attire, & upon arrival the staff thoughtfully match your outfit with a charming hat & take photos throughout the stunning space. Every detail, from the tea room to the restrooms, is meticulously designed & filled with delightful curiosities.
Once seated, you select your teacup from a cabinet of nearly 100 unique pieces. The tea hostess carefully chooses the tea, explains its origins, & presents an elegant platter of both savory & sweet offerings. Thoughtful touches abound, including a wish ritual with a water bottle & marker.
When the staff learned it was my best friend's birthday, they went above & beyond by creating a truly memorable moment: she was invited to write a future note, which was sealed with wax, dated, & entrusted to a friend to be opened on the chosen date.
An exceptional, immersive, & unforgettable experience. I cannot wait to return to Lady Porcelaine.

J'y suis allé pour mon anniversaire avec ma maman & ma soeur. Il s'agit d'une expérience immersive. La nourriture était très bonne, la décoration du lieu est sublime & détaillée. Pour moi le point fort de cet endroit est la gentillesse du personnel. Tout le monde joue le jeu pour rester dans l'ambiance des lieux.

Lady Porcelaine est une charmante maison de thé qui nous transporte tout droit dans l'élégance des palais anglais, où l'heure du thé est un véritable rituel, à la fois sacré & délicieux. La décoration intérieure est tout simplement féerique : les pots en porcelaine, les meubles raffinés & chaque petit détail émerveillent dès l'entrée. Leur concept est unique & leur menu est extrêmement varié, avec de nombreuses options végétariennes, ce qui plaira à tous les goûts. La propriétaire, Jennifer, est incroyablement sympathique, chaleureuse & souriante. Elle accueille chaque client avec patience & prend le temps d'expliquer les différentes options, ce qui donne vraiment envie de vivre cette belle expérience. Les employées sont également très gentilles & contribuent à rendre l'ambiance encore plus agréable. Petit plus : Jennifer est aussi l'auteure d'un livre intitulé Lady Porcelaine, qui porte le même nom que son salon de thé➡? un bel hommage à son univers. Je recommande vivement cette adresse magique & unique !

Amazing experience at Lady Porcelaine. It is everything that it claims to be & more. The service was impeccable, the decor is beautiful, the food & tea was so delicious & the employees & owner are all god sent. We felt so welcomed & appreciated. They explain every detail to you about the old days & how they did tea time back then. It feels like you're living a childhood dream! They also have amazing prompts for awesome instagram pictures! We went for my birthday & they even personalized our experience to celebrate the event! Would 100% recommend.

Quelle expérience magnifique! L'accueil est d'une chaleur exceptionnelle, & chaque détail semble pensé pour rendre l'heure du thé inoubliable. Dès qu'on franchit la porte, un sourire radieux & de délicates attentions nous attendent : prise en charge des manteaux, accessoires style « régence » offerts, possibilité de choisir sa tasse… tout est mis en place pour nous plonger dans l'ambiance. La séance photo qui suit est un véritable plaisir grâce au décor fabuleux du salon. & que dire du thé & des bouchées ? Un délice. Mention spéciale aux beignets aux fruits de la passion, de véritables petits nuages exquis. Du début à la fin, cette expérience est rendue inoubliable grâce à un personnel d'une bienveillance rare. I celebrated my birthday at Lady Porcelaine, & we had an amazing experience. From the moment you walk in, you are transported into the most amazing atmosphere. There is so much to look at, so many meticulous details... you can tell that a lot of love & passion went into this place. The owner was so accommodating & welcoming, we felt right at home. Impeccable service, delicious food & teas, & many lovely, fun surprises. 100% recommend if you're a tea lover & looking for a unique experience.

This is actually the most lovely spot I've ever visited in Montréal. It was my second afternoon tea experience, though my first time here, & I cannot express how blown away I was. All the workers are so obviously dedicated to their jobs & it makes the experience so lovely! The owner is so kind & really puts in effort to make the experience as welcoming & pleasant as possible. It's impossible to put into words how pretty the interior is. If you're a fan of pink, you might have a heart attack. Every inch of this building is so meticulously arranged & detailed. Visiting this place makes you feel like a true princess. Obviously, the tea is great. I'm not sure if they regularly change which teas they serve (I had butterfly pea tea & earl grey), but as someone who is a total tea-addict, I thought they were great. Not oversteeped or bitter! & it came with adorable little heart-shaped sugar "cubes" (hearts?). The food is also incredible. It's so nice how the staff explains the intended order in which you should eat the things; it really allows you to get the most of your experience. The scones here were so incredible (coming from someone who HATES scones); I could've eaten 10 of them. They come from Gryffon Bakery I believe. It's nice how they support local businesses as well. I could go on for even longer, but honestly, you should just come visit this place to experience it for yourself.

What sets this place apart from other afternoon tea experiences? -The owner is warm & so knowledgeable about afternoon tea customs/traditions & can answer any & all questions about the service. -They have REAL clotted cream with their scones -They curate 3 different teas that you enjoy with each tier of food. Unlike most places where you choose 1 tea for the whole thing. -You can feel the passion & love that went into every single detail & decoration -You can choose your own fine china teacup from among hundreds of vintage ones. -You are welcomed to try on fascinators to elevate the experience for full immersion -everything they serve is from local businesses All around 5 star experience & would definitely recommend!

Quelle belle expérience! Nos attentes ont été dépassées! Nous avons été pour un bachelorette. L'ambiance de l'endroit est incroyable. Chaque détails a été pensé & décoré. La propriétaire nous a accompagné tout au long de l'expérience pour prendre de magnifiques photos dans son décor, expliquer le thé & les bouchées (délicieuses en passant) & rendre notre journée mémorable.
