Nous sommes allées l an dernier & avions tellement aimé le chocolat /café à la roseavec les guimauves roses & la tasse décorée de cannes de Noël en mini morceaux que nous nous sommes dit: voilà une nouvelle tradition à commencer. Donc cette année, à la même date, le 2 janvier, nous sommes retournées. Déçues. Extrêmement déçues. Pas de chocolat chaud à la rose, pas de tasses décorées avec les morceaux de canne. Un simple chocolat chaud dans un verre enrubanné de chocolat dégoulinant sur les côtés. Un service médiocre.Bon, on va se trouver une autre tradition, un autre endroit.
Je comprends que vous soyez victimes de votre succès mais prenez gare car tout ce qui monte redescend avec un service & une qualité moindre.
Reading everyone's experiences, I expected a long wait, but actually we waited only about 15 minutes & I loved the decor & the drinks! The pizza was yummy too. The service wasn't the fastest but why go to a café if you're in a rush.
The worst place I ever visited in Montreal. People are waiting outside while there are free places inside. When we finally came inside they told us that kitchen is closed & we need to order at the cashier. In 15 min it seems they changed their mind & open the kitchen cause they came to take an order of the neighbour table. Cheap interior. Hot chocolate & canele weren't tasty at all. If you don't know how to run a cafe it's better to learn how to make it before opening. You're loosing not only customers, you're loosing your profit as well. Regret of wasting my time & 30$

J'ai visité l'endroit le 24-12 à 8:30 , l'expresso & le chocolat chaud étaient froids 25$ 🙄. La nourriture très très ordinaire & le service client horrible 🙄 l'homme ( environ 50 ans ) nous a regardé de façon très désagréable parce que nous attendions notre café début car évidemment personne nous a dit qu'ils font le service au table. Le magasin est beau & la musique de Noël 🎄 était présente mais on gèle dans cette endroit ….. très très déçu & ne recommande pas.
We were walking by & noticed this themed Christmas cafe, so we sat at the counter & got a smoothie & a coffee (both were just ok). After leaving I did some research & noticed that this place is quite viral online, & usually there's a huge line up & long wait to get inside. We didn't have to wait at all because it was earlier in the day I guess. I must say it really is just a tourist attraction.
Also a heads up, it seems most breakfast/ lunch options are only offered from a grab & go fridge. I was going to order a lox bagel but with all of the delicious warm fresh bagel places in Montreal, I refuse to eat a refrigerated bagel.
I get that it's cute & fun & festive, but their offerings aren't worth the wait if you get stuck in that lineup!
Busy cafe, long line, feel festive inside. Hot chocolate is good, not overly sweet.
Really disappointed with my visit. I ordered two hot chocolates & waited over an hour, even though the café wasn't busy. I kept asking politely if my order had been forgotten & was ignored or answered rudely. After countless asks, someone finally realized the order had never been put in. I got my drinks almost twenty minutes later, paid full price, & the hot chocolate wasn't even good. Definitely not the Christmas spirit this place claims to have.

We went there for the festive hot choco & it didn't disappoint. We got the dark chocolate version & it was still a bit sweet but it tasted delicious nonetheless.
The cafe was decorated with Christmas trimmings & it really gets you into the spirit of the season. It was a bit crowded & the line was long but it was not chaotic. The staff managed it very well.

Special shoutout to the "Choco Mauve" hot chocolate-it's an absolute must-try & a hit with both adults & kids! I visited with my child, & we were enchanted by the cozy, magical ambiance. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into the holiday spirit, better to go in the morning to avoid the line up.
Habitué du café, je n'avais pas vu que Le Petit Dep s'était transformé pour le temps des fêtes ! J'étais venu boire un café mais quand j'ai vu la carte adaptée pour l'occasion & la nouvelle décoration je suis finalement resté pendant des heures ! Mention spéciale pour la pizza la Belle Province & le Chocomauve, un vrai délice !
Waouhhhh ! Une déconnexion complète le temps d'un café ! J'ai adoré ! Au plaisir de revenir prochainement ! Moi qui suis une amoureuse de Noël la décoration pour les fêtes de fin d'année est juste magnifique ! 🤩 Bravo ! 👏🏻 PS : Mon café était aussi délicieux 😋
