Alfred Café Buvette par Le Petit Dep offers a cozy, festive vibe with warm lighting and charming holiday decor that makes the space feel magical; the spot shines with delicious hot chocolate, tasty pastries, and well crafted coffees and lattes, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting, though guests may encounter lines and some wait times, occasional price notes, and variability in service or dish quality, which many still see as part of a memorable, comforting experience at this Montreal favorite.
Went there on a date & we got a glass of milk instead of the cold drinks we ordered. Flavor of my London fog was very faint if not non existent & I had a big blob of honey at the bottom of my glass. Decor was was cool but apart from that I'd steer clear especially for the price.
I'm in town for the week & kept walking by this cute little place. Finally decided to stop in, was totally worth it! The waiters, Anthony & Remi, brought such good energy, they are an amazing representation of hospitality. Their willingness to adapt to my different requests was a joy to experience! A must-go while in Montreal, be sure to say go habs go to Anthony if you see him!!!

Visited with a friend while their Christmas decorations were still up. It's really cozy, pastries were great as well as coffee.
I would definitely recommend this one as it's both relaxing a little bit magical thanks to the decor.
Very cute café, you really feel like you're in a Swiss chalet! The service is not the best, they take their time, don't go there if you're in a hurry. I can't speak for the hot chocolate or the food since I ordered a latte. It was catastrophic. I asked for a regular latte, regular coffee, regular cow milk, nothing fancy. I can assure there was no real coffee there, it tasted of yeast. Very bad.

Went at 8pm on a Tuesday, only had to wait to be seated for 10 minutes, but once seated we waited at least half an hour before a server came to our table. When food arrived it was not hot. We were only offered water after we had already finished our drinks & food. I understand it's a busy place but the quality of service was pretty bad. Won't be returning
