The last time we were here was 7 years ago, & everything was just as good as we remember it! we had the raclette appetizer & the bouillon fondue, & a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious & our server Jordan made the whole evening enjoyable!
La Savoie was, without exaggeration, the most disappointing dining experience I have ever had.
Located in the Tremblant village, La Savoie is usually fully booked on the weekend in peak seasons, so I waited a year for my next ski trip with my ski club to make a reservation for this restaurant. I am a cheese-a-holic & really wanted to try this fondue/raclette restaurant. The overall Google rating was positive.
I looked up the menu online but was slightly confused. As clarified by our waiter, for a party of 2, you only have 6 options & each one costs around $75 per person. Based on our server's recommendation, we ordered the raclette. It was a big mistake.
For $75 per person, all you receive with the raclette option is'unlimited' cheap quality sliced baguette, boiled flavourless potatoes, an ordinary & extremely plain green leaf salad with too much dressing, & a wheel of raclette cheese that was so salty & rich that I could barely eat more than a few bites (& whatever raclette is not eaten gets used again by the restaurant for another dining party). You also get a small plate of a few blanched vegetables & a few pieces of deli meats that were nothing special (& were not'unlimited'). I have eaten raclette cheese before which I found delicious but the one served at this restaurant caused my stomach to hurt tremendously after eating a few bites. Despite the pleasant service staff & cozy restaurant interior, I was so turned off by the food that I had a truly miserable experience.
Worse, I felt robbed by this restaurant. I cannot believe they charge $75 per person for what is essentially $10-20 worth of food. I have been to extremely expensive restaurants & paid exorbitant rates, but at least I felt I got a tasty & beautifully plated meal with elegant service/atmosphere. At La Savoie, I felt as if I was eating just some cheap appetizers put together with little thought.
If you are a party of 12 or more, at least you can get a 3 course dinner for $75 per person which would include a raclette appetizer, fondue or pierrade dinner, & chocolate fondue & coffee/tea for dessert - that sounds like a more reasonable deal. But how can this restaurant justify charging the same price per person if you come with just one other person & you only can get 1 item?
La Savoie - you really need to rethink your menu & start offering the 3 course meal option to any size party. Or be fair & reduce your rates for the 6 options offered to smaller party sizes. Even though I didn't enjoy the food, at least I wouldn't feel so upset if the rates were reasonable.
Quaint little restaurant in Mont-Tremblant. They have a unique menu offering more'experiences' than your traditional A La Carte menu. You get to choose between the'Cheese Wheel', grilling, Cheese fondue, boiling/oil/red wine broth.
We tried the Cheese Wheel (Raclette) & Boiling (Bouillon) options & it was fantastic. You get a variety of food to cook or prepare yourself & the ingredients were fresh & delicious.
One small tip: the Cheese Wheel / Raclette experience is VERY calorie heavy, with not a lot of protein. You get unlimited'cheese', but you'll get filled up in no time. I suggest going for a combo option to try & balance both calories & protein.
Definitely a place for special occasions as the price is not on the low end.
With the only downside out of the way, I think this is a great restaurant for some hearty food & cheese after a hard day on the slope.
The raclette is a must order item. The melting cheese on a plate of potatoes makes you forget what poutine tastes like. & if you pair it with a glass of red wine, it will make you wanting to go back to the slope right away! 😜
The place is not big so it offers a cozy vibe & its Xmas decoration makes it a unique & family atmosphere!
We didn't get any cocktails but the bar looks well stocked. It even has the French chartreuse!
I would recommend reserve ahead of time especially during the holiday season.

Un accueil très chaleureux & agréable ! Le fromage est de très bonne qualité, & la raclette directement à la meule saura réchauffer votre coeur. L'assiette de charcuterie est généreuse & diversifiée, vous en aurez pour votre argent.
Great raclette! Been here many times - it's the most consistently good option on the mountain. Just remember they call it'rock'-lette for a reason… it'll re-solidify in your belly if you don't start moving quickly after you eat it. You've been warned!

Village piéton de Mont Tremblant. Dans un décor rustique & décontracté, c'est l'endroit parfait pour déguster une fondue ou de la raclette. Nous avons essayé la fondue au fromage & la raclette, les 2 étaient exceptionnels. Pour le prix, on en a EN MASSE. Le service était aussi très sympathique & rapide, mention spéciale à Lydia qui nous a servi, un amour. L'endroit parfait après une journée de ski (ou n'importe quand vraiment, on est allé l'été & c'était simplement incroyable).
What a delightful dining experience at La Savoie. We enjoyed traditional raclette & fondue. Both were incredibly delicious. The wheel of cheese is melted tableside & the meats grilled/cooked on the table in front of you, at your own rhythm. The meat assortment was great, the fondue broth was flavourful & the portions were generous. Our waiter recommended a lovely wine & the service was terrific. We loved the cozy & warm atmosphere & will most certainly be back.

Delicious food & great service! It's hard to find a fondue restaurant anywhere these days & Tremblant is so lucky to have La Savoie! The broth fondue & Raclette is the best combo!

Je suis allé manger une raclette avec un ami & j'ai rarement passé un moment aussi agréable que ce soir-là.
Le cadre est top & le service aussi, la salade à volonté fait vraiment plaisir.
Je n'ai qu'une hâte, c'est de retourner au Canada juste pour retourner là-bas.
Envie de manger une bonne raclette faite avec des produits de qualité ? N'hésitez plus ,réservez une table dans ce restaurant où les produits sont excellents & le service à l'écoute 👌. On y retournera c'est sûr .

Neat experience & great service, just funny to be spending $200+ on a meal for 2 people & have a paper napkin & placemat. Our food was delicious, we had the Raclette, we wish we dined with more people so we could try different offerings (& be warned it's a TON of food for 2). Very cozy atmosphere, noise level was low so it was easy to converse. Unique experience & worth it to go once!
Cena davvero fantastica a La Savoie, la fonduta che ho mangiato era fantastica e avrei avuto il piacere di tornare per provare qualcos'altro come la raclette o la pierrade. L'ambiente è molto tipico e dall'arredamento caldo, il personale è molto gentile ed efficace e i prezzi non economici ma adeguati alla qualità (sui 70/75 dollari a seconda del piatto scelto). Secondo me un must do a Tremblant, spero di tornarci.
