Review Summary

Kouzina Niata comes across in these reviews as a warm, charming, family-run Greek shop in Mile End offering authentic Greek comfort food made with fresh phyllo and high quality ingredients. Standout items include spanakopita, tiropita, moussaka, bougatsa, and tarama, with customers also praising the cappuccino freddo and other desserts, and many extending praise to the take-home dishes and even frozen options. The atmosphere is described as cozy, clean, and welcoming, with friendly service and a sense of homemade care that makes guests feel transported to Greece. Some notes mention occasional issues such as sand in the spanakopita when leek washing isn't thorough, and a limited range of dairy-free options, but the overall sentiment emphasizes authentic flavor, freshness, and a broad selection of ready-to-eat and pantry items. Overall the reviews depict Kouzina Niata as a local gem for Greek comfort food, pastries, and a memorable cafe-shop vibe that draws repeat visits.

Everything was delicious, familiar yet unique & fresh. Some items were a bit overpriced & it's a bit unfortunate that this business relies on so much plastic but at least they use metal containers & wooden cutlery too. I got the : Greek peas = comes hot, decently priced, rosette d'aubergine = maybe a bit overpriced? , comes hot. gigantes = decently priced, came hot. Fava= a bit overpriced, comes cold. 5 bean salad = overpriced, comes cold. Tirokafteri = overpriced, comes cold. Bean soup / fasolada = a bit overpriced, comes cold. Farro salad = overpriced, comes cold. Tomatokeftedes = a bit overpriced, comes cold. Kourabiedes (almond cookies)= so good & decently priced. The food was prepared fairly quickly & made it to me in time. It's easy to stop by & pick something up & the owner is really nice. I would order again. thank you for putting love into the business & making sure the quality stays high consistently
