Joie de Livres propose une ambiance chaleureuse et cosy, propice à ralentir et à lire tranquillement, avec un décor soigné et une fusion cafe librairie qui donne une impression féerique et immersive. Beautiful bookstore with many beautiful books. A must see in Montreal, especially for the book lovers out there. The bar/cafe on site is a very big plus!

Great bilingual bookstore. The essais & nonfiction section is small, but the variety of fantasy books (their specialty) is vast with all kinds of book covers & editions for most titles. The bar has a cool book inspired menu, nice choice of coffees, teas or cocktails. I'd love to visit again just to work or read while sipping a nice drink ☕?📖🍹😌

Absolutely lovely bookstore with a great horror section! Great food & cocktails & a space to sip & read. They hold great events & book clubs! Everyone who works there is so kind! Shout out to James for hosting a great hellraiser event!

Beautiful bookstore! My first visit & they have a huge selection of romance in every sub genre. They even have some other fiction sub genres in the back as well as a kids section. We didn't get to try the cafe.

This bookshop is honestly the kind of place I'd dreamed of ever since I was young. The decor is so cozy & inviting & had some dark academia flair to it. The book selection feels tailored to my personal reading tastes, with their focus on speculative fiction & romance. Not to mention, a café bar right inside the bookstore? Absolute perfection. Being able to sip a fun cocktail & taking in the atmosphere, mulling over all the interesting titles we'd been browsing, was such a nice date activity. The staff is also very nice & friendly! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
