Joie de Livres has fast become my favorite bookstore in Montreal. The staff is knowledgeable & eager to share their love of literature, the book selection is awesome (& what you can't find, they'll order), & their popcorn latte is delicious. It's actually reinvigorated my love of reading.

La seule librairie queer Fantasy/Sci-fi & more a Montréal a fermé ses portes pour'devenir' Joie de Livres en nous vendant que ce serait le même concept mais encore plus grandiose! C'est une super belle librairie, mais ca ne remplace Saga en rien. 75% romantasy + le QG official de Heated Rivalry... pas pour moi merci! Bonne lectures a vos nouveaux clients & du succès malgré tout a Joie de Livres.

Fantastic little book store that mainly specializes in romance, romantasy, sci-fi or fantasy (with a few other options). Staff is super friendly & great at recommending books when you're not sure what to read. They've got a ton of cool hardcover editions as well. They'll also order anything that you can't find in store. Must-stop spot in the Mile-End for all book lovers!
