Java U is a decent spot to grab a coffee & a sandwhich before grabbing a flight.
It's in the International gate area. The americano's are ok but they have a good amount of food options.
Obviously airport prices so you are paying out your ass for a coffee. I had a medium americano & a egg & cheese on a croissant for $22.
Its a reliable place everytime you are at YUL.
Total rip-off. I know airport food is not very good & overpriced, but this place is ridiculous. Stale bagels & coffee that tastes like pencil shavings, avoid this place.
I always go there when I'm flying out. It is close to Gate 1 after security, you can't miss it. It has plenty of choice for food from sandwich to croissant, muffin ect… You need it to tell them how exactly you want your food or coffee cause it can get busy & they can forgot half of the order. Most of the time staff is nice & professional.
So I think I would've given this place a 4 star rating if it werent that a really obnoxious woman cut me in line because she apparently knew one of the staff & acted like she owned the place. Girl I dont care if you were the Queen of England, get in line like everyone else? They let her do it too, so I assume she's also staff or one of the staff's friends. Very rude.
Super hot. Extremely hot. BURNING hot. But great coffee & it was really fast.
The woman who served me was incredibly rude & clearly unhappy to be there. It's disappointing to be treated that way, especially in a place where most people are excited to travel. Bad vibes really kill the mood.
Great food, good value for the combo meal with Greek salad.
Java U, is a welcoming place at Drpartures in Pierre Eliot Airport; provides a relaxing atmosphere, to relish their exquisite coffee, & eateries.
The staff was patient & kind.
I had a good experience getting my
iced vanilla late as well as an iced chai latte.
Both were very good.
A solid spot for coffee at the airport. ☕?
Don't forget the pastries 🥮:)
I had a lovely experience at Java U in the Montreal Departure Airport. While waiting for my flight, I stopped by for a coffee, & I really appreciated that they made it fresh, right at the last minute-it made all the difference. The taste was excellent, & it felt like a small comfort during travel. Even more special was getting to enjoy it while spending time with my parents before departing. Thanks to the team at Java U for a great cup & a meaningful moment.
The food was absolutely delicious, very fresh & full of flavor!
The service was exceptional - Mouad made sure everything was perfect, & Zaid was extremely welcoming & attentive.
Thanks to them, the whole experience felt even better. Highly recommend!
Overpriced sandwiches.
Coffee is good.
But a breakfast croissant 12CAD, c'mon-la.
Early Dec2024 Canadian brand cafe with a wide selection of other food items apart from drinks The displays are comprehensive & good for quick takeaways for travellers. Their bagel sandwich had a huge amount of cream cheese that overwhelmed the other imgredients though. Counter service was fast. Dedicated space for diners with lots of seating.
