Review Summary

Java U Café offers a mixed experience for travelers at the airport, serving as a convenient spot for quick bites and coffee before flights. While many patrons enjoy the variety of sandwiches, pastries, and drink options, there are frequent inconsistencies in food quality and service. Experiences range from delightful meals and friendly service to complaints regarding dry baked goods, burnt coffee, and unprofessional behavior among staff members. Pricing is generally perceived as typical for an airport setting, though the overall value depends heavily on the specific items ordered and the consistency of the preparation.

Drip Coffee was lukewarm, returned it & they brewed a new pot. The almond tarte was very dry & dissatisfying. Very disappointed for a Montreal coffee shop experience.

Ordered two Cubano sandwiches here at the international terminal at the Montreal airport for me & my son. Surprisingly delicious for airport food. Bread was exceptional. What was really cool was that the young lady taking orders was speaking in French & I successfully ordered in French. My Duolingo streak paid off!

La serveuse était très peu aimable & surtout elle nous a compté 2 fois un coupon d'avoir & ne voulait pas admettre sa faute. Inadmissible !

First man I spoke to this morning was so kind. I went back to get tea & this bigger darker skin Indian lady was so rude & I am unsure if it was just me, but she had all smiles for every other patron who did not look like me. Either way, I went to Tim Horton's downstairs instead.

I asked if what I wanted was fresh & was told yes. It was the most dry scone I've ever had. Very disappointing.

Stale, expensive food, & employees coughing directly into their hands while preparing it.

$8 for an absolutely shitty cold brew :( I haven't been to any place with a bad cold brew!

Staff were adorable. Coffee was bitter. Egg salad sandwich on croissant had too much paper & croissant was like rubber. It's disappointing for a last impression of Montreal.
