Amazing experience at this place! Very generous with the portion of chicken compared to other places. Im a big fan of Caribbean food & this restaurant will be my go-to spot!
in an ideal world, i'd probably rate Janette's a 4/5 if i were to rate off just the food. pretty enjoyable & tasty. some people might knock on how the place looks, but i'm ngl, i fw it. spot's got its own aura to it service on the other hand is some doodoo. i mean it is what it is i guess, it's a small spot & i'm guessing they're working as fast as they can but waiting for almost 2 hrs for food is a little outrageous. we had even called ahead of time on top of that (as some reviews had also suggested)

Jannette's Spicy Caribbean Food is a top-notch takeout spot for anyone craving bold, authentic Caribbean flavors! While there's no Jannette behind the counter, the name represents the delicious & vibrant dishes you'll find here. The jerk chicken is a standout, perfectly spiced & cooked to perfection. Their curry goat is another must-try, rich & tender, with sides like rice & peas & fried plantains that really complete the meal. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. Even though it's takeout only, the service is fast & efficient, & they make sure each order is packed with care. Whether you're a longtime lover of Caribbean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Jannette's is the spot to satisfy your cravings!
Service is slow, the rice needs work, the jerk chicken can be better. For the price, I'd still come back. Improve the order taking over the phone please!

First time eating here tonight. I have to say, this food is absolutely delicious. This quality is going to be hard to beat & the prices are right too. Keep up your hard work! This is worth the detour from the south shore for me. 🩷
Their stuffed spicy patties are out of this world - so flavorful & satisfying. jerk chicken lunch delicious 😋🧆🥘🍛 i love supporting small businesses, & this one truly deserves it. If you're in the area, you have to check them out!

The lamb roti was good but not great because it didn't have enough meat compared to the amount of potatoes, & the roti was huge, making it hard to eat. The service was a bit odd & slow. This is not a restaurant where you can dine in; they literally have a window where they hand out food, so only takeout is available. Prices are okay.
Excellent !! En toute honnêteté il y a rien qui m'a déplu Prix , quantité, qualité, goût ,service P.s. je commande toujours d'avance À essayer sans aucune hésitation :)
Went there for the first time today & it was so good ! The worker there was extremely sweet & patient with us ! Definitely recommended!!!! Since I did not really know the menu, I ordered when I got there & wait time was around 10 minutes, it was quick ! Prices were reasonable & portions were amazing My plate was a SMALL plate & I was so full 😂

What a gem! Probably the best & most flavourful Caribbean food I've had since being in Jamaica. I polished my plate off & left not even an ounce of chicken on the bone.
