Best Caribbean food in the West Island, if not the whole island of Montreal.
We had the jerk chicken & beef roti - everything was perfectly cooked & bursting with flavor.
The plantains were sweet & moist (just wish there was more of them as a side!).
The rice was so good, it didn't even need gravy or extra seasoning - we literally finished our containers spotless.
Hidden gem take out window. The goat curry, plantains, & Jamaican patty were exactly what we wanted. We waiting about 20 mins for our food & they recommended calling in your order ahead in case they were busier. Definitely check it out.

The platter arrived like a riot of the tropics assembled on a tin drum: thick cuts of jerk chicken, their charred skin lacquered in a spice-dark molasses of Scotch bonnet & thyme, lay smoldering beside a golden fried bun still exhaling whispers of oil & flour. The rice & peas-humble in theory, regal in execution-steamed with coconut & bay, each grain swelling with ancestral memory. Plantains, caramelized at their edges, lounged like sun-baked aristocrats beside a coleslaw so crisp & sharp it might have been composed by a chamber orchestra of cabbage & vinegar. It was a meal, I dare say, not merely eaten but endured-in the best sense of that word-like a pilgrimage through heat, smoke, sweetness, & salt, each bite calling forth some fragment of marooned history & defiant joy.
Le meilleur poulet jerk. Délicieux & généreux servis avec des plantains sucrés parfait. Vraiment une belle trouvaille. Service ultra sympathique, you have to try it.

Ordered the goat curry, the jerk chicken, & their beef patties, & they were all delicious! Perfect amount of spicy in the goat curry, & very generous portions in all plates. Plantains prepared just like back home🇲🇽 definitely ordering again!
I ordered the Jerk Chicken, very tasty! Right amount of spice for me. 1st time, there, they gave me a plantain to try, I'll order them next time. Highly recommend!

Delicious! Scrumptious! Fire🔥🔥jerk chicken,curry goat,oxtail,rice & peas, plantain, fried dumplings!!! Everything seasoned, cooked to perfection!!! Can't wait to try the roti, snapper & Ackee & saltfish & patties, almost forgot the patties. Will be special ordering for the family asap!
Literally fire food - only complaint is that I didn’t get the plantains I ordered even after I reconfirmed before leaving the spot but all in all this is the best Caribbean food in the west .3714765246632E+24;🤍�
