Delish! Fantastic food and great service, we'll definitely be going back!
Went here for a private engagement party and he food and service were both good. Would try again.
Great food, decent prices and bring your own wine. Nice atmosphere and have always ad good service! Definitely need reservations as this is a hotspot in the West!
I was so disappointed as were the other 2 people with me. First my soggy ceaser salad had 7 CROUTONS in it. I actually counted them because i don't eat carbs so i took them out.I ordered a garlic shrimp dish for $27 and since i dont eat carbs and i came with rice or 2 potatoes or pasta i asked if the can just put a little extra garlic butter on my vegetables cuz i wasnt having the potatoes or rice or pasta and the waiter said it will be $4.00 extra for the garlic butter. OMG I told him to take off the price for the rice and potatoes and pasta since i wasn't having any of that he said he had to charge me an extra $4 FOR GARLIC BUTTER!!!!!!!! I told him forget it so i got 6 shrimp a piece of broccoli a carrot a piece of yellow and red pepper that all had NO flavor at all. That was just my meal the other 2 people had no better than me. Apparently one of the girls said the best part of the meal was the BREAD hahahahaha, and io'm not joking about that either. The meal was very expensive $142.00 PLUS tip. I go out a lot and go to expensive restaurants and cheaper ones and i never mind paying for a good meal BUT even at $10 this meal was very unenjoyable and tasteless and soggy.
resto correct, nourriture correct.
I find these reviews sometimes lack the review on the food itself, what food was ordered and how was the food let's say from 1 to 5...i say this because it would be great to know if the food item i'm ordering was rated good or not by the general public
Hence, i gathered some data that i would like to share with you for this restaurant, maybe it'll help, maybe it won't, because taste is subjective, doesn't mean that some one found something too salty that the other didn't because their taste buds are different, regardless this is tasting data from my group of friends
(other than the food, the restaurant was awesome, atmosphere, staff, efficiency, flexibleness, etc... this 5 star rating is not based solely on the food)

Service is A1, food is really good, ambiance is awesome, great for parties and for romantic dinners all at once.
I wouldn't describe this as an Italian restaurant, there isn't any tippically italian dishes on the menu, even when it comes to the pasta.
But all around would recommend, and will definitely will go back.
Good food selection, waiter was very attentive; good ambiance; will return no doubt! There was a good selection of "crisp" vegetables (wish I knew how to cook them properly)to accompany my veal and potabello mushroom scalopini...everyone at our table enjoyed their dish. This is the third time we go to this restaurant.
it took a lil while to get seated but they were very friendly. the food was great! warm bread :) i had a rack of lamb and it was PERFECT! a+
It was the first time in a long time that my husband and I were able to get away in weeks and so we were looking forward to eating at this restaurant since it received good reviews. I don't know what the big deal isabout the place other than the fact that it is "bring your own wine". It is very pricey and the food is mediocre at best. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and were disappointed! You expect quality. That is not what you get. You get small portion size. You get what tastes like frozen calamari that is tough and tasteless.
On the the main course...I ordered a grilled chicken plate and for the price I also expect quality. Wrong. Chicken wasn't tender. Three small lackluster potatoes. A scant amount of veggies. No originality. Expensive. Nothing else was included! My husband had the chicken tetrazinni. Also around the same price. Taste was okay but really overpriced and boring!
I won't go back. Not on your life. We don't drink so we don't care about the BYOB. We like good quality for your money but we didn't find it here.
excellente nourriture, prix correct, saveur incroyable!! tres bon service
Appearances can be deceptive. Located in a strip mall which looked deserted when we arrived, the interior belies its facade. The rsetauarnt although not "haut decor" is slick and functional. First the food which I found to be fresh and abundant. The grilled vegetables dish was the most generous serving I have had in Montreal with great variety. I stuck with the Italian fare and the pasta was well cooked the sauce was neither overburdened with spices (as is the norm in most establishments) nor too oily. Everyone had a good time and our waiter daniel was a real firecracker
In he west isl;and this is the place for pasta and oh the BYOB policy is nice
excellent liver. i tried finding the recipe and all they have out there is liver and onions. vivaldi was way more original with stir fried veg.
The best grilled octopus this side of Paros Island!!!!!
This has been and remains one of my favourite restaurants on the West Island. Tucked away in a somewhat obscure strip mall, one may be tempted to walk away. However, the service is always friendly, courteous and accommodating. I've had some issues with placement in the restaurant and they have made the effort to change where we sit even when it is at its busiest. The food is ample, the appetizers tasty. I enjoy the fried zucchini and calamari almost as a tradition. I've tried several of the dishes and most are great. I do not find the food over-salted. The ambiance is so-so because it's typical of the big Italian restaurants in this area: loud. If you can get a table near the window, you will fair better, but be specific about that. Wonderful desserts and coffees, except I'm usually too full to eat any!
We just went to Vivaldi's tonight for Canada Day Celebration. What a disappointment.
Usually the calamari is the best in town....tonight it was tough and overcooked
Our pasta was barely cooked and the cheese included in the dish was so cold it didn't melt...just big chunks of boccacino cheese sitting there in a watery sauce
The osso buco was tough and stringy.
The pasta putanesca was so salty it couldn't be eaten.
We raved about this place to our friends and were so disappointed.
The only high spot of the evening was the wine we brought with us was FANTASTIC and the waiter removed the osso buco from the bill.
I just hope that this was an off night and not a downward trend in quality.
It hurts to spend 275 dollars on food that tastes no better than what you could get in the frozen food aisle of the Metro next door.
When my guy said he was gonna bring me to a bring ur wine restaurant in his area I was suspicious.
I was gladly suprised by how good the ambiance and food were. And the bathrooms clean! lol! It matters to me cuz if they cant clean their bathrooms, nothing else goes 4me, lol
So amazing food
the place looks really nice n hip
the service is GREAT
and there's parking!
what else can you ask for?!
good price too :)
Oh! If you're planning on going on a saturday, make a reservation first cuz they're busy! :)
see you there :P
