There's not enough places like this in the city; a true gem. Reservations are essential, as the seating is assigned for the evening; it's a leisurely dinning experience.

The dishes are beautifully plated & the combinations are delightfully flavourful & balanced.

My one detractor from the evening would be it is rather difficult to converse; there is little to no sound isolation & gets quite loud at peak times & the music; the selection of which seems poorly-suited to the environment.

Having said all this, a new menu is relesed every 6 weeks, I have every intention of returning.

Définitivement déçu de l'île Flottante, un restaurant qui fait fréquemment la liste des meilleurs restaurants a Montréal. Je dirais que la nourriture était bonne mais rien d'exceptionnel, la ou il y a un sérieux problème c'est la vitesse du service. Le menu dégustation offre un grand nombre de service 12 si je me souviens bien. Cependant le temps d'attente entre chaque service est beaucoup trop élevé.

Lorsque nous y étions il y avait environ 8 personnes dans le restaurant. Au total le repas a prit environ 4:30 heures pour deux personnes.

Dans un tel contexte, je pense que le service aurait dû être beaucoup plus rapide.

Quelle merveille ! Un sans faute, service incroyable, la nourriture était magique ! Le seul petit bémol c'est que 6 services c'est vraiment beaucoup, j'aurais préféré pouvoir choisir d'en avoir moins !

The food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the wine pairing, which complemented the dishes beautifully. Considering the price & the quality-I'd say this is one of the top restaurants in Montreal. The staff were also incredibly friendly & approachable, adding to the overall positive experience. The only dish that felt a bit out of place was the'leek ramen.' While I genuinely appreciate fine dining cuisine infused with ingredients from other cultures, this ramen dish seemed somewhat odd compared to the rest of the menu.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! As someone with a gluten allergy I truly appreciate how well they accommodated my needs. Every dish was incredible, but the highlight for me was the beef tartare! Everything was cooked to perfection, & the flavors were just phenomenal!!
We also opted for the wine pairing, & I highly recommend it, it complemented each course beautifully.. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the service was top-notch. The staff were not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about both the menu & the wine selections. I'll definitely be coming back!!
