Pasta was cooked perfectly, sauce was flavourful, shrimp was way overcooked & obviously frozen. The portion size was also quite small. I had to eat a sandwich when I got home 2 hours later. I Wasn't expecting that for a $28 pasta & I won't be going back.
The place is pretty enjoyable with the dim lights but it's hard to find a table during the peak hours. Even if you find a table, the chairs are gone & it just leaves you confused. The service at this restaurant was friendly & polite. The counterwaitress answered our questions & took the time to warn us about the food being spicy & recommended us to order mild spiciness instead. We ended up finding the food not spicy at all but the flavours were still quite good & the pasta itself was tasty. The texture was enjoyable & the sauce complemented it so well. I do find the portion a bit small for the price. It was 28$ after tax for the plate & it was barely enough for one.

Pour un petit resto de centre d'achat c'est franchement très bons. Je n'ai jamais mangé à leurs autre resto alors je ne peux pas comparer mais ce que j'ai manger au Royalmount était plus que satisfaisant. Mes pâtes étaient peut être légèrement trop al dente mais ça reste un goût personnel. Les assiettes ont été prête assez rapidement également malgré l'achalandage du weekend. L'employé à la caisse avait par contre l'air bête & ne parlait pas tellement malgré les questions posés mais comme on ne lui parle que 30 secondes ça va. Je recommande cet endroit lors de votre passage au Royalmount.
Ordered my food gave tip to the young lady Z. She forget to give me the water then I had to chase it amd retrieve it. She could at least bring him to me since I gave a tip. Lack of professionalism!!!
Expérience très décevante au Il Miglio - Royalmount. Le risotto était clairement sous-cuit (riz trop ferme). Lorsque je l'ai signalé poliment, le cuisinier a nié le problème & a tenu des propos condescendants, allant jusqu'à remettre en question ma capacité à reconnaître le plat vu que je suis la « première cliente » qui se plaint. Or, il est possible de voir dans d'autres Google Reviews que certains plats ne semblent pas être maitrisés. Bref, le manque de respect & d'écoute a gâché l'expérience. N'hésitez pas à faire valoir vos plats qui sont mal cuits.

Très mauvais rapport qualité prix 32 $ pour une petite portion de pâtes dans un grand plat avec un faux creux pour l'illusion j'ai eu 5 crevettes & à peine un peu de fromage dessus .

We're beyond disappointed. Our food came after an hour & not all our order came at the same time. 3 of their staff, instead of making us calm, they even argue with us. 3-4 customers after us got their orders first. We will never eat in this restaurant ever again.
The carbonara was salty.
We ordered grilled chicken & they gave us cold chicken.
The risoto was the only good in what we ordered.
Overall I will never eat here again!

Rude. I am visiting for work & am pregnant. My baby in the making tells me I want Pasta. Was looking over at their store front & a man comes say' who eats pasta in the morning?!' & made a face. I said I crave it. & he just didnt look or sound very nice. Well if youre planning to ever eat pasta, dont think of eating here!
Had a delicious pasta with lemon cream sauce & salmon. Loved the food.
The only downside is the loud terrible mind numbing horrible beat music they continuously play throughout the restaurants & even outside.
This could be a spectacular place if someone would just choose a better selection of music.
They could pick current top hits or retro 70s, 80s,90s, big bands, Sinatra, anything would be an improvement.
I hope they pay attention to reviews. Many others have told me the same thing.
I am used to eating at other Il Miglio restaurants & they are usually really good.
Sadly with the one in Royalmount I cannot say the same.
I went twice. The first time was really good, & we got the ravioli a la ricotta.
Today I got the carbonara, since I love true Italian carbonara. But it was honestly a huge disappointment. I would never have paid for this if I knew in advance. Yes they use the proper ingredients, but all I tasted was salt. Salt & more salt again. The cheese, the guanciale are already salty, I'm confused as to why they added more. I would give a 2/10 for those carbonara.
Otherwise staff is friendly, reading older reviews I feel like the previous issues have been resolved.
& they are pretty fast too. Always appreciated in a mall.
Will go again, but never for the carbonara unless they learn how to prepare them.
Nous avons partagé un plat de gnocchis & les boulettes de veau. Tout simplement incroyable. Généreuse portion, sauce tomate divine. Nous allons définitivement revenir au Royalmount pour manger!
Spot on Italian flavours, rigatoni bolognese was same as my grandmas recipe. Saucey, meaty, no aftertaste, pure please & my baby finished all the bowl on his own

Carbonara was frankly, rather bland. My friend had the mushroom risotto & it was quite the opposite: Delicious. Lovely outdoor spot to dine on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. No service to the table; we were provided with notification to come & retrieve our food when it was ready.
Excellente cuisine raffinée & délicate!
Les linguines aux crevettes & son pesto de pistaches tellement de saveurs fortes & douces qui se marient très bien j'ai adoré!! Bravo aux cuisiniers!
Finally a carbonara without cream. Just Pecorino cheese. Egg wasn't over cooked either or too early. Not when sure if there was egg white in there (I know different regions & Italian nonas have differing opinions on this having grown up with mainly Italians & visiting Italy many many times!)
Wished the portion was bigger.
I think I got lucky with service based on some reviews - both guys were nice. Main guy that served me was this younger lad from Iran - great energy & easy going.
