Le formidable accueil d'un pub irlandais est une attraction universelle, et ce dans n'importe quelle ville du monde. Lorsqu'une ville possède un pub irlandais aussi légendaire que le Pub irlandais Hurley de Montréal, c'est d'une véritable institution phare dont il est question.
Les avis sur Hurley's à Yul montrent une expérience largement inégale: des temps d'attente pour l'installation, les commandes et l'addition qui donnent une impression de manque d'urgence. Si le service peut être agréable et efficace lorsque le personnel est en place, des retours signalent des périodes de sous-effectif et des serveurs qui s'occupent tardivement des clients. La nourriture souffre aussi de variations: certains plats comme le fish and chips ou l'avocado toast obtiennent des avis positifs, des portions parfois satisfaisantes et des saveurs correctes, tandis que d'autres plats ou burgers sont jugés ordinaires, surévalués ou mal préparés. Here we go again... I review only the best & the worst so unfortunately this one falls in the worst. Breakfast till 11am, I showed up at 10:44, nobody in front of me. Waited 11min at the door/host desk, decided to sit myself at the bar (nobody came to welcome & sit me). I was told right away that the kitchen wasn't serving breakfast anymore (10:55). First strike... The bar staff was dictated by the kitchen that people were waiting for lunch. Lie. I asked to some people waiting at the door, they wanted breakfast & got told'no'. While I was there, I saw 3 line ups forming at the door with 2 to 3 party's of 2 or 3 people. They pretty much all gave up as nobody was sitting them. One group on 7 got a seat (by the way, there was never less then 5 tables & 3 to 4 seats at the bar available while I was there). This is an airport, making people wait that long is a bad look.
I can't blame the staff, they look all over 30-40 y.o. & seems to have a solid service routine & busy non stop & they were nice. (Let's be real here, since gen Alpha took over the service industry,'good service' is now only an historical mention about the 20th century...)
There's obviously a management issue probably rooted in a disfunctional kitchen. It was pretty obvious, seeing staff waiting at the kitchen for pretty simple fares & hearing staff at the bar complening about the cooks... I waited 24min for a chicken sandwich with fries.
The sandwich itself was not great. Very unriped tomato & the chicken had a doubtful smell... I'll update if there's consequences to me eating it.
There's better options in this terminal for pretty much the same prices.
Update: the smelly chicken had no bad health effect. Non-issue here.
Je mets rarement des avis négatifs, mais là c'est nécessaire.
Le service est déplorable.
Nous nous installons, le serveur ne nous donne pas de carte. Nous voulons commander un soda avec ma compagne, la réponse du serveur :' non monsieur c'est un bar, ici on boit de l'alcool'.
Approche intéressante, mais pourquoi pas.
Nous cherchons d'autres options pour consommer:'est ce possible d'avoir un mojito? Non. Est-ce que vous avez d'autres cocktail ? Oui.'
Quel verbiage & quel professionnalisme...
Nous commandons une bière & une boisson sans alcool.
Puis après avoir été pressuré pour faire un choix, nous attendons nos commandes pendant 15 à 20 min...
Pour clore ce spectacle de clowns, je veux régler ma part, & comme nous sommes a une table de six, monsieur me dit :'non, on ne sépare pas l'addition ici'
Je me retrouve donc a régler la table.
Pour finir je me rends compte que j'ai laisser un pourboire sans avoir validé quoique ce soit sur le tpe.
Toute ces démarches sont a la fois peu orthodoxes & énervantes.
Que certaines de ces pratiques soient courantes, encore une fois pourquoi pas. Mais le cumule de ces pratiques, & le manque de flexibilité du service sont juste pitoyables.
Je déconseille vivement cet établissement qui s'apparente a un braquage organisé.

Avoid if you can. Appalling service.
The server (bald & bearded), is rude & unhygienic. Sat by the table with a view into the kitchen, & when he bussed the food out he adjusted it with his bare hand, which he obviously didnt wash. He seemed always in a hurry & impatient, even though the place was mostly vacant. Chose the low tip option & he practically jeered.
Maybe he had a bad day but made the experience was very unpleasant.
Limited options at YUL so the place will do just fine. But avoid this if you value your health & peace of mind.
The service was not attentive. A server sent us back to the entrance so she could seat us at the table we were heading for to start with. The food was just OK which I suppose you should expect in an airport. I would look for a different option.
In general, I'd recommend having your meal before coming to the airport. None of the options in the American terminal looked great. We settled on this one. They're not in a hurry to attend to customers, starting with attending the entry. The sign says wait to be seated, but you'll wait several minutes for someone to come seat you. Our TA was near the entrance, so I witnessed this over & over with people waiting while we ate.
The food itself was decent, but pretty bland, even by my standards. Like any airport, the food is overpriced, especially for what you get. They also only have Pepsi products for soft drinks.
The problem at YUL is all restaurants are terrible. There's not too many options so, I you need to eat you will have to just pick the least worst.
This one surprised me because after reading the reviews my expectations were very low.
I have to say I had one of the best French fries ever. Usually I just try a few & never eat it, Here I was so tempted to ask for more!
I sat at the bar, & the server-bartender was doing his job efficiently & helpful.
This is my second visit & di far I'm not disappointed.
This place is great good food to eat for teens parents & older people the home made fry's are the best fry's I have ever eaten a decent choice of things to get & a amazing atmosphere. Was a little more pricey but for airport food it's alright.its kid friendly but there is better options at the airport for them.Also there is three or four vegetarian options & some dishes it says they can make it vegetarian which is nice even though I'm not . Overall I would go there I would go again with my family & make sure to get the homemade fry's there amazing

Not many options to begin with at this terminal. Took the chicken avocado club with fries. Smallest & saddest portion of fries I've seen in many years, tasted alright.
The plastic water cup was all chipped & cracked, how difficult would it be to discard & replace?
The sandwich was not a true club, rather it was 3 pieces of oily hamburger bun, with layers of ok chicken, questionable guacamole, & one slice of tomato.
This was $26, it filled my belly temporarily but my experience here has taught me not to trust these restaurants again. Very overpriced for what you're getting, & sad presentation.
The service was ok
The prices are insane for the quality.
I ordered a beer that cost $14.99 for a not so big of a glass & my calamari was dry & cold. I told the waiter but she didn't do a thing about it not charge me less for the garbage they served me. Not worth my money. Read reviews before picking a place (not like we have many options)
