Here we go again... I review only the best & the worst so unfortunately this one falls in the worst. Breakfast till 11am, I showed up at 10:44, nobody in front of me. Waited 11min at the door/host desk, decided to sit myself at the bar (nobody came to welcome & sit me). I was told right away that the kitchen wasn't serving breakfast anymore (10:55). First strike... The bar staff was dictated by the kitchen that people were waiting for lunch. Lie. I asked to some people waiting at the door, they wanted breakfast & got told'no'. While I was there, I saw 3 line ups forming at the door with 2 to 3 party's of 2 or 3 people. They pretty much all gave up as nobody was sitting them. One group on 7 got a seat (by the way, there was never less then 5 tables & 3 to 4 seats at the bar available while I was there). This is an airport, making people wait that long is a bad look.
I can't blame the staff, they look all over 30-40 y.o. & seems to have a solid service routine & busy non stop & they were nice. (Let's be real here, since gen Alpha took over the service industry,'good service' is now only an historical mention about the 20th century...)
There's obviously a management issue probably rooted in a disfunctional kitchen. It was pretty obvious, seeing staff waiting at the kitchen for pretty simple fares & hearing staff at the bar complening about the cooks... I waited 24min for a chicken sandwich with fries.
The sandwich itself was not great. Very unriped tomato & the chicken had a doubtful smell... I'll update if there's consequences to me eating it.
There's better options in this terminal for pretty much the same prices.

Update: the smelly chicken had no bad health effect. Non-issue here.

Je mets rarement des avis négatifs, mais là c'est nécessaire.
Le service est déplorable.
Nous nous installons, le serveur ne nous donne pas de carte. Nous voulons commander un soda avec ma compagne, la réponse du serveur :' non monsieur c'est un bar, ici on boit de l'alcool'.
Approche intéressante, mais pourquoi pas.
Nous cherchons d'autres options pour consommer:'est ce possible d'avoir un mojito? Non. Est-ce que vous avez d'autres cocktail ? Oui.'
Quel verbiage & quel professionnalisme...
Nous commandons une bière & une boisson sans alcool.
Puis après avoir été pressuré pour faire un choix, nous attendons nos commandes pendant 15 à 20 min...
Pour clore ce spectacle de clowns, je veux régler ma part, & comme nous sommes a une table de six, monsieur me dit :'non, on ne sépare pas l'addition ici'
Je me retrouve donc a régler la table.
Pour finir je me rends compte que j'ai laisser un pourboire sans avoir validé quoique ce soit sur le tpe.
Toute ces démarches sont a la fois peu orthodoxes & énervantes.
Que certaines de ces pratiques soient courantes, encore une fois pourquoi pas. Mais le cumule de ces pratiques, & le manque de flexibilité du service sont juste pitoyables.
Je déconseille vivement cet établissement qui s'apparente a un braquage organisé.

Rude welcome. Place was empty yet they wanted me to sit at the bar. No hello, nada. Oh & they fo not have an espresso machine. Bye.

The food is kinda mid. Which is expected for an airport pub. The service was terrible. Peter, amazing that you introduced yourself to take the order was never to be seen for the rest of the ride. I had a fruit fly in my beer. Normal. I'm not difficult ...I'll wait for you to come back & check on me so I can ask for a spoon. But. You never came back. So over 10 minutes, no check back & waiting to have a sip of my drink. He has an amazing ability to stand off side of the cash where he can't see his only two customers As a bartended for 13 years & am astounded by the lack of service

Avoid if you can. Appalling service.
The server (bald & bearded), is rude & unhygienic. Sat by the table with a view into the kitchen, & when he bussed the food out he adjusted it with his bare hand, which he obviously didnt wash. He seemed always in a hurry & impatient, even though the place was mostly vacant. Chose the low tip option & he practically jeered.
Maybe he had a bad day but made the experience was very unpleasant.
Limited options at YUL so the place will do just fine. But avoid this if you value your health & peace of mind.

I've been here for both breakfast & lunch. They don't have a large menu, but the food is good, they have a full bar, & the staff has been very friendly both times.

The problem at YUL is all restaurants are terrible. There's not too many options so, I you need to eat you will have to just pick the least worst.
This one surprised me because after reading the reviews my expectations were very low.
I have to say I had one of the best French fries ever. Usually I just try a few & never eat it, Here I was so tempted to ask for more!
I sat at the bar, & the server-bartender was doing his job efficiently & helpful.
This is my second visit & di far I'm not disappointed.

My flight was delayed & every bar & restaurant in the terminal had closed by the time I went to Hurley's pub. Fernando, who was working on Wednesday July 9th evening, was so kind to tell me they were still open & serve me a drink. I had it & more customers joined me (4 people) he served all of us kindly & professionally even though he was supposed to close the place way before we left. He made my day & the day of the other guests, thank you so much for being an amazing host, Fernando!

I've been to Hurley's YUL on a few occasions. On the last two occasions, however, I left after being seated for 15 minutes without a waiter or bartender ever coming to see me to take my order. Totally unacceptable. The service is very poor & barely merits one star. All of their staff looks disgruntled. The food is overpriced for the quality that they serve you. You're better off at Archibald if you simply want to enjoy a good beer before your flight.
