Homer's Boîte à Beignes est largement salué pour des beignes frais, moelleux et volumineux, avec une grande variété de saveurs allant du crème brûlée au pistache, au bacon maple et à des créations thématisées Simpsons qui plaisent beaucoup. Le service est généralement sympathique et efficace, l'ambiance est chaleureuse et l'ensemble des boîtes pour emporter est solide, le tout dans un cadre coloré et accueillant où l'on peut aussi profiter d'une touche rétro arcade. Dans l'ensemble, les avis mentionnent des beignes de grande qualité, un prix parfois jugé élevé et des goûts parfois trop sucrés ou similaires d'une saveur à l'autre, mais l'expérience globale est perçue comme exceptionnelle et comme un must pour les amateurs de beignes à Montréal.
I went in to buy a few donuts, but since there are many flavors & I'm not familiar with all the exact names, I accidentally said a couple of them wrong. Instead of simply helping, the staff member kept correcting me in a very rude & condescending way.
For example, when I thought one donut was tiramisu but it wasn't, he said'This is not tiramisu, it's ___, ok?' in a sarcastic tone. Another time I asked for an'original' donut (which usually means a plain one in many places), & when I clarified it wasn't what I meant, he responded'That's called sugar, ok?' again very dismissively.
Customers shouldn't have to memorize every donut name just to order. If someone points or describes what they want, that should be enough. The attitude was unnecessarily mean & made the experience very uncomfortable.
I tried the donuts at Homer's along rue Sherbrooke, & I think you'd really enjoy their selection of donuts & buns. I bought half a dozen of their premium?flavored donuts, & everything was delicious. What stood out the most was the sweetness level - it was exactly right for my palate. The price is also reasonable: six pieces of their premium beignets cost $18

This is truly the best donut shop you will ever go to in your entire life! So many flavors, from creme brulée to arc-en-ciel. Massive donuts, decent prices, very friendly staff
Delicious freshly made donuts at all hours. They have great classics but also they are constantly coming up with new festive flavors to keep you coming back! A great addition to the neighborhood.
We were served right away by friendly & helpful staff who took the time to walk us through the menu since we weren't too familiar with it. The donuts were absolutely incredible - fresh, flavorful, & beautifully made. We also loved the fun touch of retro arcade games, which added a great nostalgic vibe to the place. Can't wait to go back!
Homer's Donuts is absolutely top-notch! The donuts are always fresh, soft, & packed with flavor - you can tell they're made with care. The pistachio & classic glazed are my go-tos, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
The staff are always friendly, helpful, & welcoming. They make every visit a pleasant experience, even when it's busy. Huge shoutout to Hussein - thank you! Their service makes the experience even better.

100% WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY you spend over there. If I m craving a doughnut sometime during the day, I'm no longer going to TimHortons. TimHortons can't even compete with Homer's. Homer's blows TimHortons right out of the water !! Their doughnuts are so fluffy & delicious! The Apple fritters are so moist & dense & the slightly slice it open to fit two slices of apples almost like an apple fritter sandwich! The Maple bacon is unlike anything i've ever tried! AMAZING !!!! Their cheesecake doughnut has a PERFECT balance between strawberry & cream cheese filling! Their Lotus cookie doughnut was a bit dull in terms of flavor but still very fluffy ! The cookie monster doughnut was very tasty & the Elmo doughnut was slightly better due to the light strawberry frosting they put on top!!
A delicious variety of gourmet donuts based on the Simpson. A must try for all donut lovers. They have a variety of flavors & everything is always fresh.
This place is seriously overrated. The donuts all taste the same, just dressed up with different artificial colors, glazes, & flavors. Nothing special.
Growing up watching the Simpsons, The sign alone grabbed my attention. The flavors are both funny & iconic. Sweet menu, tasty flavors & all worth the prices. A definite must to visit. You won't be disappointed!

We visited Homers donut shop on Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal & it did not disappoint. The interior & exterior are vibrant & inviting, matching the variety of colorful donuts they offer. We tried several donuts, & they were all tasty. The crème brûlée donut was absolutely delicious, with a perfect caramelized topping. The apple fritter was flavorful, & the Boston cream was generously filled with a rich, tasty cream. Beyond the donuts, we couldn't resist trying their deep-fried crispy chicken sandwich served between two donuts (sorry no photo). It's as wild as it sounds, but the result was incredibly delicious It was messy, indulgent, & absolutely satisfying! My partner & I shared one, & it was the perfect amount. The staff were extremely patient & friendly, making the visit even better. We're still working our way through the donuts we bought, but so far, we're loving their light & fluffy texture. Can't wait to try the rest!"

I have never had fresher doughnuts. So many delicious choices. Unfortunately they don't always have the same flavors (not enough room to put all of them out), so you don't know, on any given day, if your favorite/s are going to be there. But they always have a big choice of flavors, & they're all good. The filled doughnuts have lots of filling inside. They have flavors that you don't see anywhere else (ex: cotton candy, Kit Kat, raspberry cheesecake, Skor, creme brulee, Oreo, etc.). These doughnuts are also a lot bigger than normal doughnuts so they are more expensive than regular doughnuts, but well worth every penny. Highly recommend.
These donuts are massive & well worth it. FRESH let me tell you..... I tried the Boston cream this was bursting with filling (not like you know who) great taste but I got overwhelmed. I also tried the pistachio so good, but my favorite the powdered jelly filled one. I couldn't get enough of it even the next day was still quite fresh... Honestly can't wait to go back & try more flavors
