Expérience plutôt mitigée malgré la vue & le cadre. Très peu d'options végétariennes & des prix qui nous ont semblé élevés pour la qualité proposée. Le service était aussi un peu mêlant avec plusieurs serveurs différents durant le repas. Enfin, entre les tarifs déjà élevés & le pourboire suggéré à 18 % par défaut, l'expérience laisse une impression un peu trop axée sur l'argent, ce qui est dommage. Je ne recommande pas.
Absolutely loved our experience at Hiatus! Beautiful place with an incredible view, the perfect spot for a fancy night out without breaking the bank. The food was gourmet, high end, & every dish was amazing.
What really made the evening special was the service. The staff was truly wonderful, especially Nel, our waitress. She was so kind, patient, & attentive with my elderly parents, which meant so much to us.
Highly recommend 100%, we will definitely be back!
Overall, it was a nice experience for our group of six. We chose the 5-course meal, which was enjoyable overall, but the pork dish was disappointing-it was undercooked & quite chewy, so I wouldn't recommend it. The service was okay, but we felt a bit rushed throughout the evening. I expected a more relaxed & attentive dining experience.
I've eaten at Enigma in Barcelone, La Tannière in Vieux Québec, & the Hiatus ranks amongst them. Innovative menu, surprising & delectable combinations, excellent wine pairings. I highly recommend the 5 course'off menu' menu. You will not be disappointed. The sommelier is excellent & the wine pairings thoughtful.
Restaurant recommandé par des amis, donc j'y suis allé ce 14 mars avec beaucoup d'attentes. La nourriture était correcte & la viande bonne, mais malheureusement le service a complètement gâché l'expérience.
Au moment de payer une facture de plus de 240 $, j'ai simplement demandé poliment s'il était possible de payer en plusieurs fois parce que j'avais oublié ma carte dans la voiture. Le serveur est immédiatement devenu très désagréable & a changé totalement d'attitude.
C'est dommage qu'un simple manque de professionnalisme puisse gâcher une soirée. Après cette expérience, je ne recommanderai certainement pas cet endroit & je ne pense pas y remettre les pieds.

Excellent repas dans une ambiance tamisée très agréable. Nous avons opté pour le menu dégustation en 5 services. Tout était excellent avec de bons produits & des goûts justes. On ne peut que recommander !
Une soirée d'anthologie en bonne compagnie ! Des cocktails raffinés pour accompagner la vue splendide sur le centre ville de Montréal illuminée. Je recommande chaudement cet incontournables qui ne manquera pas de créer un souvenir inoubliable !
Ps : il y a eu hiatus (sans mauvais jeu de mot) le mille feuille n'en comptais en fait que 5, on est plus proche de l'automne que du dessert

Had dinner here last week & everything was exceptional: stunning views, beautiful atmosphere, truly delicious food, & above all, hospitable staff who don't rely on the view or the chef alone to impress you - their genuine hospitality, attention to detail, & warmth elevate the entire experience. Highly recommended.
La cuisine du restaurant Hiatus était vraiment excellente, avec des plats savoureux & bien présentés. Le service était globalement très bon. Cependant, j'ai été un peu gênée lorsque la serveuse a évoqué le pourboire, car nous souhaitions en laisser un sans nous sentir obligés. Malgré ce petit détail, ce fut une expérience agréable que je recommande vivement.
Superb views of the city. Warm ambiance that sets the mood for an unforgettable evening. Every dish was excellent, the service was superior & we felt very pampered. Highly recommend.
The food was good, but the portions were very small. The service was also good. It's a great place for a nice dinner, & I recommend going downstairs to Sora afterward for a drink for
a more bar/club vibe.

The service was top-tier, & the food (at dinner) was solid for the price. I thoroughly enjoyed the cod with its accompanying potatoes, as well as the venison served with rice. That said, when comparing it to restaurants featured in the Michelin Guide, the food itself could have been stronger-especially given the price point. Still, it's hard to complain when the service is absolutely exceptional & the views are genuinely stunning. Overall, I'd recommend it to a friend.
Nous avons débuter la soirée avec une erreur de communication entre les employés, l'un d'entre eux n'avait pas bien noté l'heure de notre réservation. Nous avons attendu une quinzaine de minutes mais les employés ont trouvé une solution avec une table a couper le souffle & un cocktail offert par la maison afin de s'excuser de la situation, ce qui n'était pas nécessaire mais une attention très appréciée. Notre serveur était incroyable, il a pris le temps d'expliquer chacune des options & de nous donner son avis. Il nous a reçu avec un grand sourire & nous as recommandé le vin parfait pour compléter les plats que nous avons choisis. Malgré le malentendu, Hiatus a encore une fois surpassé nos attente & nous ont convaincu d'y retourner encore dans le future!

We came here for a birthday celebration & it did not disappoint. We are American so we had no idea what to expect. You have to take two elevators to get there. & then one guy leads you to another staircase that leads to the restaurant. I appreciate how friendly they were to me & let them speak French to them. The starters we had were the Maki shrimp, the milk bread, & the Gyoza's & they were so delicious. We ate all of it. We almost licked the sauce off the plates. Then for the course, my partner got a halibut & I got the duck & they so delightful. We did not get dessert because they did not seem appealing, but we did get two marshmallows for his birthday. Overall, we recommend this for anybody visit visiting Montreal. You also get great views of the city & stunning photos. 🌃📸
