I've eaten at Enigma in Barcelone, La Tannière in Vieux Québec, & the Hiatus ranks amongst them. Innovative menu, surprising & delectable combinations, excellent wine pairings. I highly recommend the 5 course'off menu' menu. You will not be disappointed. The sommelier is excellent & the wine pairings thoughtful.
The view is incredible, & the food & service really do not disappoint. They forgot the pain au lait, which arrived very late, but offered us the desserts which were delicious. Their pavlova is one the best ive ever had. Highly recommend.
L'endroit est magnifique & la vue est vraiment incroyable ✨ La décoration est très réussie & la nourriture est bonne. Les prix sont assez élevés & les portions malheureusement très petites, même si le cadre & l'expérience peuvent en partie expliquer les tarifs.
Le gros point négatif reste le service : le personnel n'étaient vraiment pas aimables, ce qui a gâché l'expérience. Dommage, car l'endroit a énormément de potentiel.

Expérience très décevante. Nous voulions simplement prendre le temps de regarder les menus avant de commander, mais la serveuse nous a mises sous pression presque immédiatement. Au moment de partir, un employé est venu nous parler de façon agressive & humiliante devant les autres clients, comme si nous devions être expulsées. On peut comprendre les règles d'un établissement, mais pas ce manque de respect envers des clientes.

The waiter knew it was my bday & said they had surprise shots in which they were taking shots as well - at the end we realized they charged us for the shots we didn't ask for which is strange . I felt like we were being scammed out of drinks lol

I was there for a special occasion & had left notes when making the reservation to let them know. I also tried calling beforehand to make sure everything was properly arranged, but unfortunately no one answered, which was quite frustrating & made the phone number feel somewhat useless.
We went mainly for the restaurant. The food was alright overall-the appetizer & main course were good, but lacked a bit of flavour. The dessert, however, was very, very good & definitely the highlight of the meal.
The ambiance & interior were amazing, almost perfect, & exactly what I was looking for. I booked around sunset, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view as the sun was going down. After sunset, the nighttime view was just as impressive. The atmosphere & setting are definitely what stood out the most.
The waitress was professional, but the service felt a little too formal & rigid. It seemed like there was more focus on following etiquette & procedure than on being personable, flexible, & adapting the experience to us & what we preferred. A little more warmth & ease would have made the experience much better.
Overall, I would definitely go back because the setting & ambiance were beautiful, but I would probably skip the restaurant next time & simply enjoy the bar & the view.
Staff was so lovely, accommodating & very helpful. Everyone made sure they greeted us & asked if we were ok. Beautiful restaurant & out of this world food! Thank you so much.
