Everything was excellent. After reading some of the reviews & hearing comments about the pace of the service, I would simply say that Hiatus is not somewhere you go with the intention of rushing in & rushing out. It is an experience meant to be enjoyed.

That being said, better coordination when it comes to taking the initial drink order would be one area for improvement.

Otherwise, this was a true five-star experience. The food was exceptional, the service was attentive, & the view is simply spectacular. Hiatus delivers the kind of dining experience that feels special from beginning to end. I will absolutely return.

The view is incredible, & the food & service really do not disappoint. They forgot the pain au lait, which arrived very late, but offered us the desserts which were delicious. Their pavlova is one the best ive ever had. Highly recommend.

I was there for a special occasion & had left notes when making the reservation to let them know. I also tried calling beforehand to make sure everything was properly arranged, but unfortunately no one answered, which was quite frustrating & made the phone number feel somewhat useless.

We went mainly for the restaurant. The food was alright overall-the appetizer & main course were good, but lacked a bit of flavour. The dessert, however, was very, very good & definitely the highlight of the meal.

The ambiance & interior were amazing, almost perfect, & exactly what I was looking for. I booked around sunset, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view as the sun was going down. After sunset, the nighttime view was just as impressive. The atmosphere & setting are definitely what stood out the most.

The waitress was professional, but the service felt a little too formal & rigid. It seemed like there was more focus on following etiquette & procedure than on being personable, flexible, & adapting the experience to us & what we preferred. A little more warmth & ease would have made the experience much better.

Overall, I would definitely go back because the setting & ambiance were beautiful, but I would probably skip the restaurant next time & simply enjoy the bar & the view.
