For the price, I was underwhelmed, to be honest. The food was fine but not up to the standard I was expecting, especially with being part of such a lovely hotel. The staff seemed flustered & were quite slow, although very polite & good service once it happened. However, the wine pours were inconsistent, & I asked for some bread only to be told 20 mintues later they were'out,' I finished my meal by then, so it didn't matter, but still. Unfortunately, a few of my mussles weren't cleaned properly, so it took away from the delicious sauce. The creme brule was standard, & my rose was decent. One thing I will highlight though, in the area in a pinch, if you dont want to walk anymore, it works.
It's tasty, it's as good as it looks - but there's an attitude problem.
I saw that there were reviews written a week or two before talking about being harassed for tips - but I was still shocked when it happened to us. The server came up & started pressing my colleague about the tip amount in front of the whole table. Apparently there was a real error (mistyping on the machine), but that doesn't excuse the behaviour IMHO.
Enjoyed thoroughly. We were 6 people. Everyone enjoyed their meal & service was excellent. Highly recommend.
It's a very nice bar & the service is top notch. I can't review the food, but the drinks were delicious.
Accueil correct, ça semblait difficile de nous choisir une table. Après quelques minutes d'attente on a demandé d'être près de la fenêtre, après une autre vérification dans le système ce n'était pas possible & les places sont restées sans client tout le temps que nous étions là. Le menu comporte très peu de choix & ce qui est offert est très plate. On demande des cafés filtres, c'est long, finalement les cafés arrivent avec du lait juste assez pour deux personnes & nous sommes trois & deux sucres pour trois personnes. Je décide de prendre l'omelette Henri à 22$, parfaite & décevante à la fois, M. Birks serait fâché de voir ça. Voulez-vous d'autres cafés? Nous répondons tous oui, les cafés'filtres' arrivent, pas de lait, pas de sucre mais marc de café inclus dans la tasse.
22$ pour pas grand chose quand l'expérience du service impeccable est là ça ne me dérange pas.
Nous sommes passé il n'y a pas longtemps après l'achat d'un montre chez Birks. J'ai été déçu du service mais je me suis dis que j'étais peut-être mal tombé. Aujourd'hui j'ai eu la confirmation que ce n'est pas un endroit où je vais retourner ni le recommander.
La brasserie française Restaurant Henri est un incontournable. C'est un endroit qui a de la classe, un service 5 ⭐ & un menu sublime.
The Henri Brasserie was a great experience. The atmosphere is very warm & I regret not getting a walk through shot. The food was great & the service was good to, other them being really busy & only being able to sit us at the bar ( I suggest making a reservation) overall the experience was good.
Food was good but service was poor, especially at a restaurant that aspires to be fine dining. We had to ask for everything, even water refills, & even had to get up to get our waiter to take our order.
had one of the worst experiences of my life at this restaurant . Jonathan who claimed to be the manager was extremely rude & unprofessional.
As a loyal customer staying at Birks, I regularly come for breakfast. On this occasion, I ordered a small omelette, intending to have pancakes afterward. However, I was served something different-apparently by the manager himself. When I explained that it wasn't what I had ordered, he responded with arrogance & told me to leave the restaurant if I wasn't satisfied.
At first, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Unfortunately, he was serious. The level of disrespect & lack of customer service was truly shocking!!!!
I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.
The food is delicious, the cocktails we had were very good, the service was friendly & attentive.
This Is purely the most beautiful hidden gem of Montréal.
I love the architecture, the history with the Jewellery Store.
It is so nice to have a good coffee , alone or with good company.

Les prix ont explosé au-delà du raisonnable, & je digère assez mal le supplément frites sur un tartare alors que la serveuse a présenté que c'était servi en même temps...
La qualité de service & les informations fournies ne méritaient pas de charge de service.
Aujourd'hui c'est très cher pour une qualité de cuisine moyenne, & une quantité très moyenne aussi

Melba dessert was just too much cream. Needed more fruit. Not imaginative enough.

Great food, great service & great ambiance! I was here for a work event & thoroughly enjoyed the salmon tartare, candied beef cheeks & chocolate mousse 👌
