Bel endroit lumineux pour le lunch. Service courtois & preste. Tataki de poisson en entrée fin & bien réussi. Bavette trop cuite. J'ai tout de même bien aimé mon repas.
Very fancy & classy Brasserie Francaise. Wonderful rapid & discreet service. Choices for lunch are wonderful & well done. Able to offer classic French Pub food in a high end environment & it's facing the beautiful Philip Square. Want to treat yourself to some luxury at lunch? This is the place.
Lovely lunch at the bar. Oysters followed by steak tartare. The place is gorgeous & the bartender was sweet & very competent.
L'endroit est sublime, & ça vaut le détour! Le vin qu'on a choisi était incroyablement bon, conseillé par un des serveurs. Chateau Balestard La tonnelle 2015 j'ai dégusté chaque gorgée & le parfum de ce vin est juste divin. La nourriture était bien. On y avait lunché y'a deux ans & la bouffe était sublime. Cette fois-ci c'était bien, mais j'ai trouvé que ça manquait de verdure de finition de raffinement. Le pain maison en forme d'épis était vraiment bon.. Ça reste une belle expérience.
Honestly was a bit disappointed with this place as I thought due to the prices & the numerous reviews it would've been way better. We had their lunch menu & ordered a French onion soup for appetizer, cheese burger & steak with fries. When the French onion soup arrived it was good! However we waited almost an hour after the soup to get our main dishes. I think two people who seated after us got their foods first & was able to leave before we got our plate. The cheese burger felt like an ordinary cheeseburger & only the steak was good but there wasn't a wow factor to it besides the butter. I feel like the steak could have more veggies or something to add more presentation to it besides just fries. They also somehow ran out of takeout containers so we couldn't bring home any leftovers…Overall, decent place but not thinking of coming back or recommending
De très belles options sont disponibles pour les lunchs corporatifs de groupe avec une très belle salle disponible. Également, le repas aux tables est superbes avec de magnifiques options de l'entrée jusqu'au dessert. Le tout évidemment dans une ambiance agréable & une bâtisse magnifique. (Hôtel Birks) Je laisse quelques photos. Seul bémol à mentionner, la dernière fois que j'y suis allé, il n'y avait plus de Campari pour préparer mon negroni... c'est mieux de ne plus se reproduire. 😜
Lunch ce midi à la Brasserie Henri....j'avais un bon souvenir des fois précédentes mais très décevant...j'ai demandé un steak saignant, il est servi médium & assez cuit aux extrémités! Frites médiocres. Pour $42, il y'a mieux ailleurs. Comme j'étais invité, je n'ai pas osé commenter de vive voix devant la personne qui m'invitait.
you should be in the restaurant early in lunch time otherwise you'll find the lack of food & service !

My friend & I went for lunch today. She had the gnocchi & I had the burger. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful & the service was impeccable; from the hostess, to the server & to the manager. You must try the incredible tarte tatin & crème brûlée! Thank you, we will be back.
One of the prettiest restaurants in Montreal! In love with the building decor & the restaurant is a perfect spot for a business lunch or a date. High quality French food & amazing service... Highly recommended!
One of the best restaurants I have been to in Montreal. Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner the food is always amazing. Staff is polite, genuine, & respectful. I highly recommend to everyone.
Concierge at hotel across the street recommended this restaurant as I waited too late for other top places in town on Friday evening. He was correct. It is a large space so room for many people & well lighted, thank you. Not too crowded & noise was of no issue. Started dinner for three with a "bottle of champagne". Waiter Raphael corrected me properly that my choice was not "methode champagnoise". Absoutement! Bubbles were good & always make a meal special. I ordered the I. P. E. (Prince Edward Island) small filet & medium rare. Perfect size for me, perfectly trimmed & perfectly cooked. The best piece of meat ever in my mouth. Timing of plate delivery was proper, no precooked items waiting at hold station for this place. My two dining companions went the next day for lunch so that says everything from their side.
A beautiful upscale restaurant located inside the Birks Hotel right across from Phillips Square in Montreal.
Classic French flair with elevated twists. Went for a work lunch & the servings were generous but not overwhelming. Ordered the chèvre salad which was amazing. Warm
Goat cheese was served on a toasted baguette slice with endives & greens to accompany. Highly recommended especially for a midday meal.
Coffee was excellent & everyone drooled over the lemon tart. Will check out again for dinner menu.
