I had the beet salad to start, which was super fresh & full of flavor, & then the bavette, which was cooked perfectly & just hit the spot. The whole experience felt special without being stuffy, & the service was friendly & on point. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, enjoy your meal, & take it all in. Can't wait to go back.

Très bel établissement, servant de bons plats bien français, comme on les aime. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le suprême de poulet, un peu moins le verre de Chablis à 23$.
En revanche, nous avons été très déçus par notre accueil : la réservation a été faite pour notre premier anniversaire de mariage, re confirmé à l'entrée par la personne nous ayant assis... & rien, absolument aucune attention portée à cela. Le service était par ailleurs correct, nos avons dû demander par 2 fois pour avoir du pain, que d'autres tables ont eu de base.
Les légumes manquaient de cuisson & la salade manquait de vinaigrette.
Nous ne sommes pas certains de revenir ici pour notre second anniversaire.

Cannot understand how this place only has a 4.2/5 rating. Extremely underrated.
A must when in Montreal. In the old Birks building with impressive architecture & outdoor patio available. Service was helpful, friendly, & attentive. I was impressed with the wine, cocktail list, & menu selection. The soup (cold) & appetizers were well presented & delicious. The main course of seafood pasta was so tasty I used my spoon for the extra sauce.
Was a little pricy but worth the amount. A highlight of our trip.
Lovely lunch at the bar. Oysters followed by steak tartare. The place is gorgeous & the bartender was sweet & very competent.
Enjoyed a fine dining dinner with a group & the service was exceptional, while the setting & atmosphere were memorable. The private dining room is upstairs, behind a set of windows looking back down into the main restaurant.
We enjoyed a tarsnip soup of the day, a very generous portion of foie gras as appetizer, filet mignon as the entree, & a pastry dessert.
We travelled from a few hours away & had been planning this 24hrs getaway for quite some time. We had only wanted to stay within the hotel grounds & are absolutely delighted that we did.
We got to Henri's at 7pm as per our reservation & were seated immediately without any issues.
The hostess was friendly & also recognized us from earlier in the day.
We sat a the bar which was clean & lively.
Started off the evening with a bottle of wine, followed by escargots & a few other mains. The meals were spectacular but above everything was the service we received from Peter (what a hard working individual) & Dave (one of the best servers I've had) was like no other. They took care of us like they had known us for years.
Thanks to those two, we will be back again & will make sure we spread the word that Henri's is the place to be in downtown Montreal.
L'endroit est sublime, & ça vaut le détour! Le vin qu'on a choisi était incroyablement bon, conseillé par un des serveurs. Chateau Balestard La tonnelle 2015 j'ai dégusté chaque gorgée & le parfum de ce vin est juste divin. La nourriture était bien. On y avait lunché y'a deux ans & la bouffe était sublime. Cette fois-ci c'était bien, mais j'ai trouvé que ça manquait de verdure de finition de raffinement. Le pain maison en forme d'épis était vraiment bon.. Ça reste une belle expérience.
Gabriel, Christiana, & Mika were magnificently accommodating, kind, & professional! We will book our next stay at the hotel & dinner & brunch ❤?🇨🇦🙏
Eve une personne fort sympathique. Le maître d & l hôtesse en passant par Hugo le valet service tout était parrrrrrfait
& que dire de ce potage froid & la guenille au homard sans oublier les fraises tout était extraordinaire

Decent food?! Portion sizes were generous but flavor was nothing really special for the price. I sat by myself at the bar & the bartender Peter was lovely, his manager?! (The guy in a suit, not so much!) the place was noticeably empty & be nice to customers. Specially a woman alone at the bar, it can be an intimidating experience already. I ordered what was recommended & still couldn't find much flavor.
A little expensive but worth it. Food was delicious. Terrace spectacula
Henri is definitely one of the most unique restaurants I've visited. I loved the lively ambiance & the stunning architectural design. The food & drinks were excellent & reasonably priced. It's truly a vibe.
