Cadre: Superbe salle! Propre.
Note: La crème brûlée'traditionelle' mériterait un deuxième'n'.
Cool place as it's right by Philips square & connected to the hotel. The ceiling height is super high so creates a really nice atmosphere inside. Ordered the French onion soup, duck & the cuit chocolate. The soup was perfect for a cold night, would've been better if it was cheesier but still very good otherwise. The duck was great, a modest half serving was enough to leave room for dessert which was the cuit chocolate… super rich & sweet so you might want to split this dessert. Really nice place to dine out with a great ambiance.
Bel endroit lumineux pour le lunch. Service courtois & preste.
I want to give a huge shout-out to Chef Marino Tavares & the incredible team at Henri Brasserie Française.
Our meal was nothing short of spectacular - every dish was perfectly executed, full of flavor, & beautifully presented. You can really feel the passion & talent behind Chef Marino's cooking.
A special mention as well to our server David, who was warm, attentive, & genuinely elevated the whole experience. The service was smooth, friendly, & professional without ever being rushed.
From beginning to end, everything was flawless.
If you're looking for a place in Montreal where cuisine, ambiance, & service come together perfectly, Henri is truly one of the best.
Bravo, we'll definitely be back!
Very fancy & classy Brasserie Francaise. Wonderful rapid & discreet service. Choices for lunch are wonderful & well done. Able to offer classic French Pub food in a high end environment & it's facing the beautiful Philip Square. Want to treat yourself to some luxury at lunch? This is the place.
Food came & it was not warm. The salad was soggy & no dressing on it. No one came to check on us to see if we needed anything. Poor customer service. Nice atmosphere but food & service is not worth it.
The place is mesmerizing!
I had one of the best steak in my life. Simon was lovely & cheerful we loved the service.
Beautiful place. But food was very disappointing. Beef tartare (40$) had so much onions in it that it had no other taste but onion. It felt more like onion tartare with beef 😔 cocktail was pretty good though.
Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, & such a seemingly elegant restaurant in the city center turned out to be a simple eatery. The food turned out to be too oily, too much onion in the salmon tartare, which interrupted the taste of the entire dish. The wine list could have been better, the local Canadian wine was not worth paying attention to at all. The service was mediocre. Unfortunately, I did not feel the holiday there, because it has not been there for a long time.
Killiant our bartender was great, super nice & very knowledgeable. We went every night of our trip.
Food is great, but the place is terribly loud. No business dinners possible at that place - unfortunately because it is a nice restaurant. Too expensive for what you get!
excellent cocktail & decent food. the steak was perfect , the lobster roll was good but not memorable . desserts were good as well. overall, excellent service ,beautiful decor & refined dishes.
We had high expectations but we were really disappointed. Service was incredibly slow (we waited over 30 minutes to receive our food). Food was not good (it did not had any flavor & the meat was overcooked). I would absolutely not recommend this place.
