An exceptional dining experience that captures the soul of French cuisine.
The ambiance is warm & refined, with a lively energy that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. Service is polished yet friendly - attentive without being overbearing.
The standout? The seafood platter: brimming with ultra-fresh oysters, Alaskan king crab legs, shrimps, & a whole lobster - all exquisitely fresh & artfully presented. Every bite was ocean-kissed perfection.
A bottle of crisp white - whether from the Loire, Bourgogne, or whatever lifts your spirits - elevates the meal to pure joy.
Great food, gracious service, & fair pricing - this place is a reminder that true culinary craftsmanship is still alive & well. Highly recommended.Voir plus
Impeccable french food destination. The fois gras is the best I have had.Voir plus
Came here for a dinner during heavy snow so it wasnt too crowded. Attentive service, good food (had the french onion soup, steak frites).Voir plus
Honestly was a bit disappointed with this place as I thought due to the prices & the numerous reviews it would've been way better. We had their lunch menu & ordered a French onion soup for appetizer, cheese burger & steak with fries. When the French onion soup arrived it was good! However we waited almost an hour after the soup to get our main dishes. I think two people who seated after us got their foods first & was able to leave before we got our plate. The cheese burger felt like an ordinary cheeseburger & only the steak was good but there wasn't a wow factor to it besides the butter. I feel like the steak could have more veggies or something to add more presentation to it besides just fries. They also somehow ran out of takeout containers so we couldn't bring home any leftovers…Overall, decent place but not thinking of coming back or recommendingVoir plus
Amazing experience! Very nice French atmosphere decor, & I had the home smoked salmon for appetizer & the famous Braised beef casserole for main entrée, was fabulous! I recommend!Voir plus
If you would like an authentic French Canadian meal, this is the restaurant for you. Gorgeous decorative ceilings & spacious interior, but best of all, the food is magnificent. Save room for the Profiterole or Chocolate mousse.Voir plus
This is a classic style French restaurant with all the different trappings that you expect of a classic French restaurant, including fancy wine & really cool cocktails & rich food designed specifically to maximize flavor & treat your palate to an experience. It won't forget. I got a white fish dish that was really delicious & paired very nicelyVoir plus
Save yourself the disappointment & go visit Monarque, Holder or L'Express instead. This place expensive because it's in a fancy hotel. The food is mediocre considering the price, the French fries came out cold, like come on... Don't get me wrong the food wasn't bad, however you expect much more considering we have so many amazing French restaurants in Montreal.Voir plus
Lovely French cuisine restaurant, great location in the downtown core & the service was excellent. Especially enjoyed the cocktails & charcuterie board.Voir plus
I took my teenaged son here for his first meal at a French restaurant since we were in town from Massachusetts. He loved it! For a kid who eats burgers & fries, I had him eating the beef tartare & enjoying it. Thank you for a pleasant meal with excellent service!Voir plus
One of the prettiest restaurants in Montreal! In love with the building decor & the restaurant is a perfect spot for a business lunch or a date. High quality French food & amazing service... Highly recommended!Voir plus
Beautiful, elegant restaurant with professional service standards, but the food was a fail. Ordered the special-of-the-day salmon tartare & it was anything but special. The french fries were cold & the raw salmon was warm & smelly. It took only one bite to know it was off. The waiter offered to replace it, but my guest was halfway through his meal & we were a bit rushed, so I declined. I would have paid, but they did not charge me for the salmon tartare. I won't be returning soon since the pungent smell of warm raw salmon has a way of staying with you for a while.Voir plus
Perfect French Brasserie. Great location, amazing atmosphere, just what you want.Voir plus
We made a reservation for a Saturday morning for 10 people. The lady on the phone was so nice & accommodating! The place is absolutely gorgeous, but the real gem is the staff!! Our waiter was so nice & patient! We exchanged English, French & smiles! We spent there more than 3 hours & nobody rush us, something that we all appreciated! They were also very accommodating in having separate bills. Portions are on the small side & it's not cheap, but the quality & the great atmosphere is what you really expect & get!! We will come back with our group for sure!Voir plus
A beautiful upscale restaurant located inside the Birks Hotel right across from Phillips Square in Montreal.
Classic French flair with elevated twists. Went for a work lunch & the servings were generous but not overwhelming. Ordered the chèvre salad which was amazing. Warm
Goat cheese was served on a toasted baguette slice with endives & greens to accompany. Highly recommended especially for a midday meal.
Coffee was excellent & everyone drooled over the lemon tart. Will check out again for dinner menu.Voir plus
Great oysters.
Food was okay, the oysters were really fresh & brioche really good but the avocado toast was tasteless, it was simply avocado on bread with no seasoning.
The waiters were good, quick & efficient, just as how french people should be.
The decor & architectures was french inspired, the roof architecture is well made but the rest was lacking. The plain body of the pillars did not seem like it was part of the show & & the decors a bit underwhelming. Take it with a grain of salt as it is my personal opinion, but it wasn't it for me.Voir plus
