We came in based on the decent Google reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the hype. While the staff were gracious enough to seat our party of four by the window as requested, the rest of the evening was a letdown.
The food was mediocre at best. While the fried fish appetizer was good, the beef & broccoli with fried rice was completely passable & lacked any real flavor. The atmosphere also felt a bit disorganized; there was a party room on the other side that made the main dining area feel chaotic. To make matters worse, the chairs were uncomfortable & the tables were wobbly.
Service was confusing staff weren't in uniform, so it was hard to tell who actually worked there. When our food arrived, the server didn't even know what the dishes were, essentially telling us'whatever you ordered is this.' Having to walk to the back of the restaurant to pay at the end felt more like a fast-food joint than a proper restaurant. Overall, a disappointing experience.
I don't give bad reviews usually but they need to work on these issues. Had iftaar buffet. Food was too salty including Soup , noodles , chili chicken, & other chicken dishes as well . If we eat rice alone than we can eat but when you eat with any chicken. It would become too salty .
Rolls , chicken tenders were like we are eating pre made frozen ones from known brands . You guys should add less salt in it . Instead of adding more empty chairs & tables, make some room so people can sit comfortably .

The dynamite shrimp were amazing! I went with my family, & everyone loved the food. It's not the typical Toronto-style Hakka, but the recipes they use are really delicious. The Mongolian beef, genral tso, honey wings, & dynamite shrimp were especially standout dishes. Everything was just perfect. Best food ever had.
I recently visited this Hakka restaurant & unfortunately it was an awful experience. The food came out in just 5-7 minutes, which made it seem like it wasn't freshly cooked. There was no authentic Hakka taste in the dishes either.
We ordered the Chef's Special Chow Mein & Chicken Fried Rice, but both were disappointing. The ambience looked nice at first with ice vapors & peanuts on the table, but that was probably the only positive part.
For the quality & taste provided, the prices felt too high. Definitely expected much better.
We ordered the chicken bites, the dynamite shrimp, the chow mein with beef, the chili chicken, & the Mongolian beef. Everything was good, but the dynamite shrimp & the beef chow mein were definitely the stars of the meal. The meat was tender, the flavor was incredible, & both dishes really stood out.
The service was also amazing , super fast, attentive, & the food came out hot & fresh. Overall, a great experience & definitely worth trying!
After having soup-dumplings couple of days before, we wanted to try other types of'Chinese' cusine.
Looking at the reviews, we decided to try this place.
We got'vegetarian chow mein' &'chlli chiken'.
We were MOST DISAPPOINTED', with both the dishes.
The food itself does not deserve even a SINGLE star.
I've rated 2 stars, just because the service was good.
The food is is NOT worth what they are charging.
'I had an amazing experience at this Chinese Halal Grill Hakka restaurant! The food was bursting with flavor - every dish was perfectly seasoned, fresh, & served hot. The grilled items were juicy & tender, while the Hakka-style dishes had that perfect balance of spice & taste. The portions were generous, & everything was 100% halal, which gave me peace of mind.
The service was warm & attentive; the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively, perfect for both family dinners & hanging out with friends.
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're craving authentic Hakka flavors with a halal twist, this is definitely the spot to visit. I'll be coming back again & again!'

Honestly this is the best place to check out if you're into Asian fusion cuisine & looking for more halal options! I was completely blown away by the general tso chicken. I think it has become my new favourite food because of this restaurant. Highly recommend as it's packed with flavour & the perfect level of spice.
The ambiance is super cute & the people working there are very attentive.
This is the perfect spot for a date night or out with a big group where you can share multiple dishes!
Will definitely be back!
The Owner & Staff are Very Good , We Most of us were vegetarian but they customize dishes us also one of our person was gluten allergic they even customized that for us , Definitely a worth try overall was good option for hakka style Chinese cuisine
The food was delicious, & the service was very quick. The single serving was more than enough for a single person. We ordered 4 different dishes & they were all delicious. Definitely recommend!
We came here with a large group for Eid all the way from the west island, The boy who served us was an absolute angel. I genuinely can't fathom how there are negative reviews, I assume them to be review bombing however I have never experienced such a delectable meal in my entire time here. We ordered more than 8 different kinds of dishes & all were without flaw, presentation was beautiful, taste was immaculate & fresh. You will absolutely see us here again.

We ordered several dishes on two separate visits, My favorite was by far the Mongolian beef. The second time, it was spicier, & I enjoyed both variations.
It has become our family's favorite restaurant for chinese-Asian fusion food.
