We came in based on the decent Google reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the hype. While the staff were gracious enough to seat our party of four by the window as requested, the rest of the evening was a letdown.
The food was mediocre at best. While the fried fish appetizer was good, the beef & broccoli with fried rice was completely passable & lacked any real flavor. The atmosphere also felt a bit disorganized; there was a party room on the other side that made the main dining area feel chaotic. To make matters worse, the chairs were uncomfortable & the tables were wobbly.
Service was confusing staff weren't in uniform, so it was hard to tell who actually worked there. When our food arrived, the server didn't even know what the dishes were, essentially telling us'whatever you ordered is this.' Having to walk to the back of the restaurant to pay at the end felt more like a fast-food joint than a proper restaurant. Overall, a disappointing experience.
This is not a Chinese restaurant at all. I ordered chicken fried rice to go & received a curry style fried rice. This is Indian food fusion at best. Very misleading & not at all what they described on Google.

Had an amazing experience at Hakka Grill. I went there with a friend for dinner. We got
- Dynamite Shrimp 🍤 9/10
-Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice 🍝 8/10
- Korean Chicken with Fried Rice 🍝 8.5/10
- Dessert 🍮 7.5/10 ( Ruby & Chocolate Mousse Cake)
Overall, if you are looking for Halal Asian fusion food, this is the place for you. Also the place is kid & family friendly. Great ambiance & lighting. The servers were super polite & friendly. They served our food super fast & kept checking on us if we need anything. Highly Highly recommend!!
Absolutely loved our experience at Hakka Grill for lunch today. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp, Chefs special Chowmein, General Tso & Mongolian Beef. Both the mains came with fried rice.
The food came super quick & fresh. The standout for me was definitely the chowmein & the chicken.
The service was outstanding! They even helped us celebrate our friends birthday with some cake.
Overall, loved the experience & so happy to have our very own halal Hakka in Montreal finally. Will be returning soon.
This is perhaps the best place for halal Chinese in MTL. I tried their Dynamite Chicken with fried & Korean Chicken. Both were amazing & full of flavour!
I recently visited this Hakka restaurant & unfortunately it was an awful experience. The food came out in just 5-7 minutes, which made it seem like it wasn't freshly cooked. There was no authentic Hakka taste in the dishes either.
We ordered the Chef's Special Chow Mein & Chicken Fried Rice, but both were disappointing. The ambience looked nice at first with ice vapors & peanuts on the table, but that was probably the only positive part.
For the quality & taste provided, the prices felt too high. Definitely expected much better.

Al hamdu lilLlah if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The staff are very kind, friendly & accommodating. As a Muslim that has family members that are Full Niqabi, the staff was very accommodating & gave us private seating for privacy. Honestly never had a restaurant offer me that without me even asking! Not only that, but the food hit the spot Ma sha'a Llah, I enjoyed everything. I got:

Had an amazing experience of enjoying Halal Asian-Pakistani style Chinese food in Montreal. We ordered Egg fried rice, Chicken Chilli Dry, Manchurian & Shashlik & Chicken chowmen. The food quantity was sufficient. Ambiance was amazing too. Special thanks to Zohaib for food recommendations & great customer service. Highly recommended 10/10
This establishment has amazing food. I had the General Tao chicken & my husband had the Chilli chicken both with the fried rice. The food, tasty & came quickly, presentation amazing. The place is very clean, I was extremely impressed when I sat down, the drinking glasses were covered, utensils were in a case, all this for cleanliness. Service was great & atmosphere was bright & pleasant. I'd visit again.
My family & I tried this place for the first time today & really enjoyed their food .
We had the chicken Chow Mein, chollo beef, stir fried rice & fries & all the food was really good. The staff was extremely polite & helpful & the atmosphere was great.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I recently dined here & it was an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles & genuine kindness. Their attention to detail made me feel right at home.
The menu offered a wide variety of options, & everything we ordered was outstanding! The chilli chicken was incredibly delicious, bursting with flavor & beautifully presented. We also ordered sesame chicken with egg fried rice & was delicious.
What truly stood out was the staff's knowledge & passion for the food. The owner took special care to ensure the taste was as per our request.

That's a great news to have a halal Hakka place in Montreal; but honestly can't give a good review for the customers.
I really like the atmosphere & the customer service was great; but food was really basic & it was not up to the mark.
I only liked the fried fish; other items were average taste or below average. I feel extremely sorry but I have to be honest to other customers & share my personal experience.
