First time trying Gyubee & I was very pleased. The quality of the meats were great, nicely seasoned, tender, the sides I tried were all delicious, & my server the sparkling Amy was very attentive & kind, quick & always smiling. Will definitely return with friends. The robot is also cute.
One of the best ayce bbq in Montreal. Great selection of meats, fast service & good quality food.
Make sure you reserve or come early during their dinner time, as there will always be a line.
The only complaint i have is that every food tend to have a certain sweetness. Which will cause a quicker flavor fatigue
I came with my husband two weeks ago during lunchtime. The food is fresh, tasty & good quality of meat. The service was so excellent I want to go back. Two employees did an impact (sorry in advance if it's the wrong name) Mia & Edward. Always available, very smiley. Give good service. Thank you for welcoming us in this beautiful/spacious place.
This is an all you can eat place, so don't expect the best cuts, thus the quality for the money you are paying is at its best. The prime Kalbi is a good mix of flavor meat & marinade. The other dishes that are not grilled they are also good.
This place is always crowded so make your reservation in advance.
They have a maximum of two hours per table that they would respect if they are crowded .
The meat was top-quality, perfectly seasoned, & absolutely delicious. The drinks were excellent, & the friendly service made the experience even better. The ice cream & crème brûlée were a fantastic way to end the meal. The space is a bit too tight, but overall, it's a great spot.

My go-to AYCE (all you can eat) Japanese BBQ spot! Love the variety of meats, veggies, & cooked dishes they offer. Their meats are high quality & so tender. The staff are always very accommodating & offer quick service. This restaurant gets full fast, so I suggest checking the wait-list ahead of time.
Amazing place, high quality meat, bibimbap & desserts. They only take reservations for 4 people or more otherwise you have to try your luck with walk in but beware, they are almost always full by 6pm.
Truly the best Japanese grill in Montreal ! As a matter of fact, just the best grill in Montreal!
The service is so efficient, the quality of the food is top tier, & for the same price as any other grill!
Big shoutout to the manager Wang & the waitress Nora for finding us a table early eventhough the waitlist was 3 hours long !

So far, it is the best Japanese bbq (all you can eat) in town.
Always feeling welcomed by the staff, best customer service, food quality & good ambiance are at the rendez-vous to enjoy with friends/family.

Absolutely the best Japanese barbecue! Since trying Gyubee, I can't bring myself to go anywhere else for BBQ. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, & both the lunch & dinner menus offer an impressive variety of options. The service is always top-notch, & we were especially lucky to have Edward as our server twice-he was outstanding! Thank you. If you're visiting, I highly recommend their takoyaki, simply delicious!
Restaurant already crowded when we arrived at 5pm. Waiting 10/15 minutes. They take your names & numbers. We were surprised by the choice & quality of the meat. The biggest plus we had was the chance to come across Jolin, our waitress. She is bilingual, a rarity these days. She was able to advise us well & her suggestions turned out to be judicious. We never had to look for her to recommend, she was there like magic & so friendly. Thanks to her, our first experience at Gyubee was successful despite a few failures. The minuses: There was no Wine or Fruity Sake, for a dinner on a Saturday night... it sucks. Restaurant looks like an anthill, it's so busy. The young people work hard to satisfy you. The restaurant needs love, the walls are dirty. Restaurant déjà bondé à notre arrivé à 17h. Attente de 10/15 minutes. Ils prennent vos noms & numéros. Nous avons été étonné du choix & de la qualité de la viande. Le plus gros plus que nous avons eu, c'est la chance d'être tombé sur Jolin, notre serveuse. Elle est bilingue, une rareté de nos jours. Elle a su bien nous conseiller & ses suggestions ce sont avérés judicieux. Nous n'avons jamais eu à la chercher du regard pour recommander, elle était là par magie & tellement aimable. Grace à elle notre première expérience au Gyubee à été réussi malgré quelques ratés. Les moins : Il n'y avait aucun Vin ni Sake Fruité, pour un souper un samedi soir... c'est nul. Restaurant au allure d'une fourmilière tellement ça bouge. Les jeunes travaillent fort pour vous satisfaire. Le restaurant à besoin d'amour, les murs sont sales.
I went for lunch with my family & we were seated quickly. It was clean & efficient & very toddler-friendly! Our toddler was highly amused by the robot that brought food to our table. The meat was high quality & came quickly. They also cleaned our grill two times. Hannah our server was great; so incredibly kind & super at her job. We will definitely go back!
The best BBQ spot in downtown! They offer a wide variety of meats, vegetables, & desserts. The meat quality is premium, making it well worth the price. For a better experience, visit on weekdays to enjoy shorter wait times & lower prices.

You cannot go wrong eating at Gyubee. Nice high quality food, scissors are offered to cut meat if that is desired. Drinks are huge. Guaranteed good time especially with friends. I recommend reserving in advance as they're always packed ☺️
Hands down the best Asian BBQ grill spot in Montreal. Flavours & meat quality were similar to kbbq in Korea! Would go back again. Excellent service & large drinks. 10/10
I had an extremely satisfying dining experience! The quality of the meat was excellent, especially the beef short ribs, which are my favorite. I also really enjoyed their Korean-style bibimbap. The service was thoughtful & attentive-the staff were quick to change the grill plates for us & promptly cleared the empty dishes. Additionally, the server, a young man with a warm smile & a pleasant voice (I believe his name was Edmond), made the experience even better. I hope to receive the same great service next time!
My experience was amazing. The waiter was really attentive & quick they added new options on the menu also which were amazing.The quality of the meat is always amazing, & its not too expensive, & I'm never disappointed. i highly recommend this place 👌 Must try: Miso beef brisket
