Everything was absolutely delicious. Yes, literally everything! Gyubee Japanese Grill is easily my top choice for East Asian barbecue in North America right now.
The service was just as impressive: efficient, attentive, & genuinely friendly. Special shout-out to Ayman, who made our experience even better with his speed & great attitude.
We didn't have to wait because we arrived before 5:00 PM, but shortly after we were seated, the wait time quickly grew to at least 30 minutes. I'd highly recommend either coming early or making a reservation in advance.
Overall, I'd give this place a five-star rating for taste, price, & service. For food of this quality at this price point, the value is simply unbeatable.

The food here is absolutely delicious, the grill at the table is a fun experience, & the service is great (& sometimes includes a cat robot). Highly recommend for date nights or group outings, but get on their online wait-list if you're going on a busier night. Only criticism is that it's so good that it's often packed & can be a bit loud.

Good meats for AYCE, at least nothing is hard to chew in any of the choices compared to the non AYCE nearby. They have beef, pork, chicken, lamb, shrimp, squid. They have carefully selected the meats to not include connective tissue, so everything can be chewed without breaking your teeth. The sauce leaves something to be desired but considering the choices around this area, I can say it's decent. The service at this restaurant is top notch, second to none in any of the restaurants that I have been in Montreal. They are very attentive to your needs. They are able to anticipate your needs most of the time & they are able to fulfill your request with virtually no time. They have a robot that helps deliver stuff too. They have plenty of staff that can address the needs of everyone, with the shortest waiting time if any. I highly recommend this place for the excellent service that makes you feel like a VIP when you eat here.

Absolutely the best Japanese barbecue! Since trying Gyubee, I can't bring myself to go anywhere else for BBQ. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, & both the lunch & dinner menus offer an impressive variety of options. The service is always top-notch, & we were especially lucky to have Edward as our server twice-he was outstanding! Thank you. If you're visiting, I highly recommend their takoyaki, simply delicious!

I had an amazing experience at Gyubee! The food was delicious, & the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Wan, the host at the front, who was incredibly accommodating & made sure we were well taken care of from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food & fantastic hospitality!

My experience was amazing. The waiter was really attentive & quick they added new options on the menu also which were amazing.The quality of the meat is always amazing, & its not too expensive, & I'm never disappointed. i highly recommend this place 👌 Must try: Miso beef brisket

visiting from Halifax Nova Scotia & went with some friends to this place & it was AMAZING. Food came out the moment you ordered it, tasted so good & the atmosphere was busy but still very enjoyable. I highly recommend coming hungry & enjoying this place!

If there was a word that meant better than the best that is what word I would describe to this resto & our waitress Hannah! She was super great & made sure we were well taken care of. The food is excellent & the service is even more impeccable, fast & caring. Parking around the area is a bit difficult, however once you experience it here it's so worth it!!! Crème brûlée is delicious (would highly recommend making sure you leave space) & the soy marinated short ribs are melt in your mouth. 12/10 worth the wait:)

It was our first time their & after trying many places I think Gyubee will be on the top of my list & I will highly recommend it. Friendly service, great food quality & great price overall. If you're looking for an all you can eat bbq don't waiste your time

Came here with my family (3 toddlers) while on vacation from usa. They are very friendly & accommodating. Incredible value & quality for price. Very attentive & friendly staff. Highly recommend. Will come back.

I recently visited this barbecue restaurant & had an amazing experience! The smell of grilled meat was irresistible. The staff were friendly & attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The meat was juicy & flavorful, & the variety of sauces & sides complemented it perfectly. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious barbecue!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Gyubee thanks to Edward, who was an incredibly professional & efficient waiter. His attention to detail & friendly demeanor truly enhanced our dining experience. The food itself was simply stunning; each bite was juicy & bursting with flavor. From start to finish, Gyubee exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be returning, & I highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional service & delicious food!
