Very pricey per person, but the quality of the meat somewhat makes up for it. The ordering system was kinda odd though - I wish there was an ipad or paper & pencil we could order on rather than having to say each item to our server. I also wish there was a better divider between tables so there's more privacy. The queue does get veeeerrryyyy busy during dinner time so just something to keep in mind.
Huge shoutout to our server, Andrew, who was extremely patient with us & was very attentive. He came back frequently to check in if there's anything we needed. Man was very chill heh
I eat here often & really enjoy it for the most part…. The price is agreeable, the good variety of choices & the food is pretty tasty… The restaurant itself is pretty nice, my one critique would be cleanliness, they could make a better effort to make the restaurant & bathrooms appear clean.
It feels like a bathroom that goes unattended at a truck stop…
Everything was absolutely delicious. Yes, literally everything! Gyubee Japanese Grill is easily my top choice for East Asian barbecue in North America right now.
The service was just as impressive: efficient, attentive, & genuinely friendly. Special shout-out to Ayman, who made our experience even better with his speed & great attitude.
We didn't have to wait because we arrived before 5:00 PM, but shortly after we were seated, the wait time quickly grew to at least 30 minutes. I'd highly recommend either coming early or making a reservation in advance.
Overall, I'd give this place a five-star rating for taste, price, & service. For food of this quality at this price point, the value is simply unbeatable.
I was able to enjoy a wide variety of meats at a reasonable price, without any restrictions. The atmosphere was also very classy & clean.
Since it's all you can eat, you just scan the QR code with your phone & then you can order as much as you want & enjoy everything freely!
great price for an all-you-can-eat! you order on an ipad & your orders come very fast. there's a wide variety of options to choose from. i've been here so many times! :)

As a barbecue buffet, there is a good & environmentally friendly price here. I love everything here. Their waiters are all very enthusiastic & energetic, especially the waiter hanna & the front desk clerk nora. They were very polite & enthusiastic in inviting me to my seat & helping me place the order, giving me a perfect dining experience
go with an empty stomach & it is absolutely worth the price! I like the smaller portions, I could try one of everything I wanted to try & still have seconds of my favourites. I especially liked the miso beef & chicken thigh & made some good lettuce wraps with them, as well as the bibimbap. I will definitely come back when I am in the city again! It was really fun & I was given more than enough time to finish everything. The waitlist was also very convenient.
Truly the best Japanese grill in Montreal ! As a matter of fact, just the best grill in Montreal!
The service is so efficient, the quality of the food is top tier, & for the same price as any other grill!
Big shoutout to the manager Wang & the waitress Nora for finding us a table early eventhough the waitlist was 3 hours long !

The best BBQ spot in downtown! They offer a wide variety of meats, vegetables, & desserts. The meat quality is premium, making it well worth the price. For a better experience, visit on weekdays to enjoy shorter wait times & lower prices.
Food is great, serving speed good too, ambience & atmosphere is also great. Excellent beef & the desserts were amazing. Portions are good too as they are big enough to get the experience but small enough to leave room for other dishes. The barbecues have built in smoke extractors so no unsightly cumbersome overhead vacuum system & no smells! Only thing is prepare your wallet as the price comes with it!
You only have 2 hours to eat & child are 3$ only for dinner. Great price. Food was fresh , everything. The best part , dessert, crème brûlée & soft vanilla ice cream, miam.
