I was feeling some bbq today. We were debating several spot. Finally me & my friends choose Gyubee. Good food, great services. Nice Ayce for the price. Satisfied.

Horrible experience for me, I heard a lot of great things about the restaurant until we went. My friend & I do food reviews undercover on tiktok & we didn't want to post it because overall there was no point to just hate on a restaurant we usually just post good reviews. Our server forgot our order 8 difference times we counted after a bit, it was crazy that has never happened before. We waited almost a total of 15 minutes at the end to get our last order because we had to remind him because once again he forgot, we knew he forgot because he ordered half the time without his ipad thinking he was going to remember when he went back to his ipad. Worst part was we came in at opening time at 4pm meaning there wasn't many clients & he still managed to not serve us properly. The food was okay but very inconsistent. Everything was fine until we ate the clam & prime kalbi. They basically gave us fat only, no meat didn't even look like the picture even if there was meat. The marbling was horrible & half the plate was just fat. We we're served also clam that was dead before cooking. It tasted horrible I almost puked. I had to go to the bathroom not even 2 hours after eating I think that was the reason, hopefully I don't get food poisoning. I would post photos of the clam but you can't tell if they're dead but they 100% we're. It tasted very unpleasant, very smelly & sour. I am scared to even go back & re try it or even recommend to someone else. Waste of money, horrible experience.

Meat are ok, but the cooked foods were cold when served. Especially the Nagoya chicken wings, the wings are cold & the sauce on it even feels like they just took it out of the fridge. The serving staff were not very friendly.

I don't have the habit of paying tips. This time, when I finished choosing no tips & I'm ready to pay, they took back the machine & chose the 15% tips for me. I'm not counting this as good service. I can choose to pay the tips but you're not choosing it for me.

Just delicious! My favorite was the sweet soy marinated & miso beef! The service was awesome, the staff was ones of most attentive workers I've ever had in other place , they made sure everything was perfect even the manager took care of us & we didn't had to wait too long to have a table I'll definitively be back!!!

UPDATE AUG 2026:
I went back multiple times the food is still as good as my first time. Staff is still very nice, but they now cut their portions even when you tell them to increase the portions because e go as a group & its frustrating to be calling them every five minutes when they are busy. They now also forget more often certains pieces & sometimes they just forget about your order & honestly that makes me not so keen on going back anymore.
