Really enjoyable dining experience overall. Gyubee in Montreal is a great spot if you're looking for a fun, interactive meal with high-quality ingredients. The all-you-can-eat concept is well executed, & there's a solid variety of meats, sides, & appetizers to choose from.
The quality of the meat stands out, especially the marinated options which are flavorful & tender. Grilling everything at your table adds to the experience & makes it feel more engaging than a typical restaurant outing. It's a great place to go with friends or in a group.
Service was generally good, with staff being attentive & quick to bring out orders, although it can slow down a bit during busy times. The restaurant itself has a lively atmosphere, but it can get quite noisy & a bit crowded.
Overall, a very solid spot for Japanese BBQ in Montreal. Great food & a fun experience, just be prepared for a busy environment.
Service is excellent & the food is amazing. My group mainly ordered marinated meat & we enjoyed it a lot. Our waitress Lina was very welcoming, friendly & proactive to help change the grill pans & to check up on us between our orders. Will definitely come back more often!

The service is super fast, efficient, & really friendly! We really appreciated it. The quality of the meat is excellent. They're marinated in a really delicious flavor - it definitely exceeded our expectations. Just keep in mind that the only payment method is Canadian debit cards or cash.
Excellent service & amazing food ! I absolutely enjoy the marinated meats they had available on their menu such as the prime Kalbi,marinated lamb, ribs, miso beef brisket, garlic beef brisket & so much more!! Everything was excellent , fresh & sooo tender!! The grill aren't those hot plate that we see in most BBQ restaurant it's the grilled one instead like in the BBQ 🫶 I really like that they give the meat part & that there is no bones ! I absolutely love the vibe, fast service & the food we're absolutely delicious from the vegetables, the meats to the dessert !! 😋
Will come back again for sure ! Had a amazing experience there 🥰 didn't try everything in their menu tonight (Monday, August 4th 2025)
It was an experience to have. The meat given was tender, very well seasoned, & marinated.
Host will check on you from time to time. The service was excellent.

Service at Gyubee is generally praised for being friendly & efficient, although some language barriers have been noted. It's best to pace yourself when ordering, as portions are generous, & meats cook quickly. Dessert options are limited to items like Melona ice cream or crème brûlée. Overall, Gyubee is recommended for its excellent food, especially the marinated meats, & reasonable pricing
The food is always great. The marinated meats are very flavourful & the all the other side dishes are great too! Favorite part are the crème brûlées, always delicious & a great way to end the meal.
LOVE. The quality of the meats & everything is incomparable, especially at that price. We also leave feeling pregnant but so worth it. Me & my friends reallg enjoyed our time there. All the food we ordered were delicious, especially the soy marinated short ribs (chef's kiss👌). Hannah, our waitress, was amazing & super nice!! Definitely a good place to eat with friends & family!!

Sooooo good! I went to many korean bbq places but this one just surpassed each & everyone. Great quality food that isn't mixed with a ton a other « popular mishmash » such as sushies & noodles, which allows to really indulge on the meat. Meat is tastefully marinated & the side dishes are perfect! Staff is welcoming & offers great service! Shout out to Alex who did a great job serving us tonight. That creme brule is to die for!!! So yummy. Will be back soon!
it is my first time come to gyubee with my family，food is really good. server hannah is enthusiastic & recommended so many delicious meat. I like marinated short rib very much!! hannah is the best!! sooo sweet!!!! can't wait to come again
If there was a word that meant better than the best that is what word I would describe to this resto & our waitress Hannah! She was super great & made sure we were well taken care of. The food is excellent & the service is even more impeccable, fast & caring. Parking around the area is a bit difficult, however once you experience it here it's so worth it!!! Crème brûlée is delicious (would highly recommend making sure you leave space) & the soy marinated short ribs are melt in your mouth. 12/10 worth the wait:)

I typically refrain from writing restaurant reviews, but Gyubee has truly earned an exception from me! As a picky eater, I found myself enjoying every dish they offered, from their premium meat selections to their fresh seafood & vegetables. Everything was delicious, but my personal favorites were the Miso-marinated pork belly & sweet potatoes.This experience is definitely worth both the money & the visit-a must-try gem in the heart of Montreal.
Came here & it was delish! I thought the meat cuts were really reasonable & the place was run efficiently. We did join a waitlist (which really helped). I definitley don't think you should come here without having joined that queue. The waiter was super nice but he had a lot of tables so sometimes It seemed hard to catch him. I've been to a few Kbbq & Jbbq places & I do think this place offers a good variety for its unlimited value. I would say the shrimp & squid aren't seasoned or marinated so heads up. But everything else tasted pretty great! The cone at the end was worth the imbalance of salt.
Great all you can eat restaurant The food was served quickly Mini crème brûlée is a highly recommend it was super delicious Only one thing i didn't like, the marinated sauce was really sweet, all of the meat tasted sweet (beef) other than that it was delicious
