Tout petit restaurant charmant & formidable : ambiance calme & feutrée, musique douce, cadre numérique au mur avec belles photos qui défilent, nourriture fraîche, délicieuse & magnifiquement préparée.
Un seul bémol : un robot serveur circule dans les allées étroites, se perd, se trompe de table, est bloqué par un manteau sur une chaise. Ce robot est inutile. Sa présence prouve bien que la technologie nous envahit encore un peu plus chaque jour, déshumanisant de plus en plus nos expériences commerciales. Revenez « à l'ancienne » svp! St-Canut n'est pas New York ou Tokyo…
Les plats sont incroyablement bien préparés, avec des ingrédients frais & des saveurs qui se marient parfaitement. On sent vraiment la créativité du chef dans chaque assiette. Le service est rapide, chaleureux & très professionnel on se sent bien accueilli du début à la fin.
Le restaurant est propre, l'ambiance est agréable, & les portions sont généreuses pour le prix. Mention spéciale pour leurs plats signature : absolument délicieux !
Food was delicious, but the restaurant had a few issues. Firstly, there were multiple mix-ups with the appetizers. Our table ordered three escargots, & we received only two at first. We also ordered meatballs, but they never came, & only upon asking was it communicated to us that they were not available. We ordered another appetizer instead of the meatballs, but it did not arrive until after the server went to double-check with the kitchen. The server did their best to fix the issues, but clearly there were multiple issues with communication the day we went. I also overheard the table next to us had not received their escargots while we were eating. Secondly, the price of anything gratiné was extra, & this price as far as I know is not written on the menu. This extra charge price should be written somewhere visible on the menu, or verbally talked about when the server asks. Food was very good otherwise, & there we no mix-ups with the main courses -- everyone in my group was very happy with their mains. Service was very friendly & they did go out of their way to fix the issues with the appetizers. I am also very fond of the bookcase decoration in the restaurant.
