From the moment we walked in, the space felt quaint, cozy, & inviting. The service struck a perfect balance between polished & relaxed, which made for a really enjoyable dining experience.
Everything we ordered was delicious - the Caesar salad, roast chicken, beef tartare, & truffle fries were all standout dishes. The spicy margarita was great, but the espresso martinis we had as a nightcap were definitely the highlight.
One small note: I'd recommend asking for the truffle sauce on the lighter side. While the flavour was excellent, the fries at the bottom of the plate became quite saturated, making them a bit too rich to finish. That said, the truffle fries paired perfectly with the beef tartare.
Dessert was beautifully presented, though a touch heavy on the chocolate - one of the cream puffs ended up a bit soggy. Still, this didn't take away from what was easily our best dining experience during our time in Montreal.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported straight to Paris. It was a truly remarkable dining experience. Every detail captured the charm & romance of a Parisian bistro, & the food was magnifique.
When we arrived they didn't have a table for us despite our reservation. We waited 20 mins & were sat but after ordering drinks & food we had our food & almost finished it before getting our coffees & smoothie. Our server was very sweet & apologized & took them off the bill but it definitely impacted our experience. The food was decent, the blueberry pancake was really good but everything else was just okay. My server was still lovely & I really liked her just maybe an off day for sure.

Honestly, Foiegwa is always a nice & excellent restaurant that never disappoints with its food selection.
I went with my friend to try their special 25$ set menu again this year after 9 pm, & it was such a steaaaaal.
Although the choice was pretty limited, the food was bussing & succulent.
We had the beef tartare, homemade spaghetti with butter & black truffle, & the duck breast. The taste & aroma of the food were so rich, flavorful, & tender.
Although the service was a little bit slower, the staff were still attentive & present to check on you. Definitely worth going back to try their other menus.
I went to this restaurant with my friends & I found the atmosphere was very nice & food was great! It's a small place, but since we went on a Tuesday it wasn't crowded. I'll definitely come back to try the brunch.

Pour ma part, ça été une déception culinaire. Cela m'a pris par surprise car les commentaires lus avaient placé mes attentes beaucoup hautes. L'extra foie gras dans le burger ne vaut vraiment pas la peine & il était sec à manger. Longue attente pour recevoir notre facture. Espace très restreint dans l'environnement. Dommage mais ça n'a pas été une belle expérience.
Cannot go wrong with truffle & pasta, superior combo. My friend doesn't like truffle & he gave this pasta a 10/10. Fries were also hugeeee & oh so good
