Flavour of India restaurant is newly opened restaurant, located on Jean Talon West in the Park Extension district. One of the main features of Punjabi cuisine is its diverse range of dishes. Within the Punjab region, there are different preferences in terms of use of spices and cooking methods. At Flavour of India, we use nothing but the freshest ingredients, including our home-made spices, in our nutritious and flavorful dishes. The owners and chefs are both very experienced in the restaurant industry as well at this type of cuisine. Their passion can be tasted in each plate that has been meticulously prepared. Edit: name of restaurant changed & last time I went ask for butter chicken but there was barely no cream in it. It tasted more like a tomato sauce with chicken :/ Not as good as before
Best Indian food in Montréal. Fish Pakora, Samosas, palaak paneer & lamb buhna are amazing out there! I recommend this place. Lovely staff.
Very nice service. Food is so fresh & tasty. I like the customer service by girl Raman. Her behaviour is so nice. Must visit this restaurant for great Indian flavour.
I have ordered the veggie thali for lunch from here a few times, it is always done well & is good value for money. The service is always nice as well.
The only downside is the ambience. They always have music videos playing, which would be fine on its own, but the restaurant doesn't pay for YT premium, so ads play often, which comes off as amateurish. Also, the last time I was there they seemed to be on a sequence of'hard' music videos with guns prominently featured (I guess like Indian gangster rap). Anyways, it wasn't really pleasant to have a meal to.
I have been to Hans Paradise a few times now. Both the food & the service are excellent. I invited some friends over there & got the same feedback from them. A good place for family, friends & colleagues who want to taste indian delicacies. Congrat keep it up.

We loved this place so much. The service was excellent, attentive, but not overwhelming & we enjoyed the waitress singing along to the music, which was a great variety of popular music & some Bollywood flair.
We were brought a bite of a new menu item, a chicken burger, which you may not think to order at an Indian restaurant but I suggest you do! Along with lots of other dishes.
We had the butter chicken, which was on the sweeter side. Not my favourite, but it was rich & creamy & the naan was so good. Our tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection. We also had biryani, which my husband is particular about, & LOVED.
& after all that, we didn't break the bank.
I think this will stay on our list for Montréal whenever we visit!
Edit: prices have slightly increased & this is sadly no longer a buffet. Offers a fantastic & diverse Indian buffet for a very affordable price. Typically with buffets, the quality of the food suffers in favor of quality, but this is not the case here. Will definitely be returning.
Best takeaway Indian I have had in years. Try the specialty dishes, which pack plenty of flavour & will let you explore various aspects of Indian cuisine. I plan to order from them regularly to explore all of their menu.
Best Indian food in jean Talon, this place is in all honesty the best value you're gonna get around, did they core is from another world, it's like somebody took acid & higher Dracula to become the interior designer . Everything they make it is consistent. You will not get disappointed with their food, there is speciality is northern cuisine of India & the service is amazing since there is no one there ever. Something cool about that too is that the bathrooms are clean & that pretty amazing.
