Review Summary

Flavour of India draws praise for tasty, well prepared Indian dishes, with the veggie thali repeatedly noted as good value and reliably done, and staples like butter chicken, tandoori, biryani, naan and mango shakes singled out as highlights. The service is described as friendly and attentive by many, with portions regarded as generous and prices affordable, making it a strong overall value and a place many would return to. A few visits are marked by slower preparation times, occasional water not being provided promptly, and moments of rude host behavior or less smooth service, tempering the experience for some guests. Ambience is sometimes criticized due to music videos and ads, though decor and a lively vibe are appreciated by others. Overall, the consensus leans positive, with many reviewers calling it a gem in the area, praising consistent quality, good value, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourage repeat visits.

We loved this place so much. The service was excellent, attentive, but not overwhelming & we enjoyed the waitress singing along to the music, which was a great variety of popular music & some Bollywood flair.
We were brought a bite of a new menu item, a chicken burger, which you may not think to order at an Indian restaurant but I suggest you do! Along with lots of other dishes.
We had the butter chicken, which was on the sweeter side. Not my favourite, but it was rich & creamy & the naan was so good. Our tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection. We also had biryani, which my husband is particular about, & LOVED.
& after all that, we didn't break the bank.

I think this will stay on our list for Montréal whenever we visit!

I really enjoyed my meal. Food is tasty. The garlic naan was surprisingly delicious. The mango shake is so refreshing & presentable. The place is clean & doesnt have a funky smell. The service was really nice & giving a tip was worth it. I'm glad I went there. I recommend this place & I would definitely go back

I came here for the weekend lunch buffet. It was something like 16 dollars without tax, which is a very good deal for an unlimited buffet. Every dish tasted very good & fresh, & there were lots of accompaniments such as salad, naan, & chutneys. The tandoori chicken & pakore were especially good, & I enjoyed the warm, fresh naan. All the dishes were refilled very frequently with freshly cooked stuff. I ate about 3 plates before tapping out. The gulab jamun was especially delicious, & I could have eaten 20 or so of those. My only complaint is that the buffet selection is rather small with only 3 non veg dishes, but the price is still very good so I don't mind.
